Temporary Hair dye

My LO is 3 and he really loves colour and expressing himself, he likes his nails painted, drawing "tattoos" on his arms and always wears sunglasses, necklaces, watches and gloves. I love to let him find his own style and enjoy being himself. I've seen lots of videos of parents using temporary hair dye on their kids over the summer, i think my LO would love it. I was thinking jjst the tips or a peekabo or some strips, he loves red and purple so i was gonna mix it up a bit. I think its such a fun tradition to do over the summer and they can grow it out before school starts. Just wondering if anyone has done this or is considering giving it a go?
I was gonna use artic fox as i've heard its pretty good for keeping the hair healthy and fades after a while

I’ve definitely thought about it. It was something I missed out on growning up as I could only get added color with braids but once I started working most jobs won’t let you have fun hair. If my son decides he wants to we definitely will.

Also Love artic fox! I use them al the time for my hair. Gonna be trying them on my locs for the first time in a couple months

Artic fox but mix it with hair conditioner 💖 greens and blues will stick in the hair so add very little - little one can make his own colors too this way!

Dismissive health visitor

Today, we had a health visitor appointment for my two-year-old. The health visitor raised concerns, repeatedly suggesting he might be autistic. She noted he wasn’t giving prolonged eye contact, wasn’t talking as expected, and was throwing toys, saying it wasn’t normal for a two-year-old. I explained he is developing on his own pace—he does give eye contact normally, but he was tired as it was his nap time. He also said hi and bye with his hand, and when she gave him a cup, he creatively used a fork to pretend it was an ice cream. I also know he understands me—he follows instructions, bringing things when I ask. And as soon as we left, he started talking again—saying mama, water, and more. Despite this, she kept insisting on a referral. I also noticed that her tone shifted when I mentioned being Moroccan—she was less kind and more dismissive. I’m looking for other moms’ experiences—has anyone else had a similar situation, where a child was just developing at their own pace but still showed progress afterward?”

Nappies

UK people!

Since day one we’ve used Pampers nappies for my little girl. We tried mamia (Aldi own brand) but found they didn’t have as much padding and didn’t like the fit of them…

Has anyone found any other brand of nappy that is just as good as pampers (fit, padding, absorbency ect ect)?? My lo has quite chunky legs so need to be quite stretchy as the mamia ones seemed too tight round her legs, even with sizing up! Just trying to find if there’s any other brands to try!

Thanks!

Tesco Nappies have changed 😫

I've just been to Tesco and got our usual Fred & Flo nappies. We've sworn by them since size 4 (Aldi was great before then for us!). We've been in size 7 for a month and they've now changed them this week. They are thinner, rougher, and have much less absorbancy. They now look and feel pretty identical to Aldi, with the "pee zone" areas. Anyone use Sainsbury's and are they any good?

4 month sleep regression

How’s everyone’s baby doing at 4 months? Mine hasn’t been keen on sleeping neither in the daytime nor in the night and it’s destroying me 🤯 at night, he wakes up every 1-2 hours wanting milk like I’m starving him. He’s on formula only now.

I never experience 4 month sleep regression with my older son so I’m not sure what to do and how long this will last! It started at 3.5 months

Breast feeding and weight loss

So many people have told me breast feeding makes you loose weight. Is this true? Did you experience this?
