Hey ladies! I have posted a link to my registry on here wanting to see if people has suggestions or recommendations on what to put on it and what to take off, however, I wanted to my hometown from it and didn’t realize that I had my other two children’s names posted on some of the items. A mom on here commented something really sweet and said that she liked some of the ideas and wanted to steal some of them for her registry. Dismissive health visitor

Today, we had a health visitor appointment for my two-year-old. The health visitor raised concerns, repeatedly suggesting he might be autistic. She noted he wasn’t giving prolonged eye contact, wasn’t talking as expected, and was throwing toys, saying it wasn’t normal for a two-year-old. I explained he is developing on his own pace—he does give eye contact normally, but he was tired as it was his nap time. He also said hi and bye with his hand, and when she gave him a cup, he creatively used a fork to pretend it was an ice cream. I also know he understands me—he follows instructions, bringing things when I ask. And as soon as we left, he started talking again—saying mama, water, and more. Despite this, she kept insisting on a referral. I also noticed that her tone shifted when I mentioned being Moroccan—she was less kind and more dismissive. I’m looking for other moms’ experiences—has anyone else had a similar situation, where a child was just developing at their own pace but still showed progress afterward?”

Speech Therapy

My child is 18 months and saying few to no words … the pediatrician is recommending speech therapy… I’m carious who else has been through this and do you have any recommendations on how to help him ?

8 weeks

My little one is 8 weeks now and I thought we’d be out of the trenches, but her wakeful periods are just her crying. She is either feeding, asleep or awake crying. When will the crying settle?! Is anyone else the same …

Do babies stop having blowouts?

My son is three months old and has occasional blowouts, we don’t deal with this problem a whole lot, but it happens and it stains his clothes when he does. I want to dress my son in cute outfits, but I don’t wanna spend money on nice if he’s just going to poop through them. So can anybody with older babies tell me does it stop or when does their poop become more solid and not as runny?

P.S. I know that babies are gonna poop and make messes. I don’t expect everything to be perfect clean all the time.

2nd immunisations

How did everyone's babies cope with their second set of jabs? Ours seems worse this time round than last time she spiked really high temp last night and vomited I ended up ringing 111 and we got sent to out of hours GP. Today shes been sleepy and super clingy and really unsettled when shes awake
