Do babies stop having blowouts?

My son is three months old and has occasional blowouts, we don’t deal with this problem a whole lot, but it happens and it stains his clothes when he does. I want to dress my son in cute outfits, but I don’t wanna spend money on nice if he’s just going to poop through them. So can anybody with older babies tell me does it stop or when does their poop become more solid and not as runny?

P.S. I know that babies are gonna poop and make messes. I don’t expect everything to be perfect clean all the time.

Try sizing up on his diapers. This happened to me a lot when the diaper was getting too small, and I wasn't realizing it.

You may want to try going with a different type of diapers or sizing up/down. diapers that are too large or small can both pose issues when it comes to blowouts. What diapers are you currently using?

My baby is also 3.5 months and he still has a blowout here and there. I recommend doing probiotics in their bottle at night so they have regular BM and less chance of being backed up. Also the miss mouths stain treater spray does wonders for blowout stains for us

Rinsing out the clothes right away and then treating when you’re able to usually gets the stain out for me. We use miss mouths stain treater

my son rarely had blowouts, i can remember maybe 3 times that it happend. but different brands of diapers fit babies differently, same goes for sizes, soaking the blowout clothes asap will help, and it absolutely does get better when they start eating solids

Wear underpants on top of nappy.
If he’s on formula look out for signs for cmpa. Mine only stopped blowouts after switching to a hypoallergenic formula.

I would try sizing up on diapers. I never go by the weight recommendation on the box I go by size honestly. If I went by the weight he would still be in like size 3 or 4. He is in size 6 now.
To answer your question though yes his poop does change. Once he gets in regular milk (if you decide to do that drink) he will have more solid poop and be careful that it doesn't look like little rocks or pebbles because that means he is constipated and he has had too much dairy. You can give him a probiotic or just feed him naturally fibrous food to help him pass poop more comfortably.

No matter what nappies we used we had blow outs constantly. I would rinse the clothes asap in cold water and then put some hydrogen peroxide on them leave them before putting them in the wash ☺️

That is the secret for getting them to poop is put cute outfits on them and my personal experience was pampers had problems with them and if he is breastfed then it is common to have occasional blowouts

Dismissive health visitor

Today, we had a health visitor appointment for my two-year-old. The health visitor raised concerns, repeatedly suggesting he might be autistic. She noted he wasn’t giving prolonged eye contact, wasn’t talking as expected, and was throwing toys, saying it wasn’t normal for a two-year-old. I explained he is developing on his own pace—he does give eye contact normally, but he was tired as it was his nap time. He also said hi and bye with his hand, and when she gave him a cup, he creatively used a fork to pretend it was an ice cream. I also know he understands me—he follows instructions, bringing things when I ask. And as soon as we left, he started talking again—saying mama, water, and more. Despite this, she kept insisting on a referral. I also noticed that her tone shifted when I mentioned being Moroccan—she was less kind and more dismissive. I’m looking for other moms’ experiences—has anyone else had a similar situation, where a child was just developing at their own pace but still showed progress afterward?”

Nappies

UK people!

Since day one we’ve used Pampers nappies for my little girl. We tried mamia (Aldi own brand) but found they didn’t have as much padding and didn’t like the fit of them…

Has anyone found any other brand of nappy that is just as good as pampers (fit, padding, absorbency ect ect)?? My lo has quite chunky legs so need to be quite stretchy as the mamia ones seemed too tight round her legs, even with sizing up! Just trying to find if there’s any other brands to try!

Thanks!

Tesco Nappies have changed 😫

I've just been to Tesco and got our usual Fred & Flo nappies. We've sworn by them since size 4 (Aldi was great before then for us!). We've been in size 7 for a month and they've now changed them this week. They are thinner, rougher, and have much less absorbancy. They now look and feel pretty identical to Aldi, with the "pee zone" areas. Anyone use Sainsbury's and are they any good?

4 month sleep regression

How’s everyone’s baby doing at 4 months? Mine hasn’t been keen on sleeping neither in the daytime nor in the night and it’s destroying me 🤯 at night, he wakes up every 1-2 hours wanting milk like I’m starving him. He’s on formula only now.

I never experience 4 month sleep regression with my older son so I’m not sure what to do and how long this will last! It started at 3.5 months

Breast feeding and weight loss

So many people have told me breast feeding makes you loose weight. Is this true? Did you experience this?
