Pregnancy while exclusively breast feeding

My kids are 16months apart. I have been exclusively breast feeding since my oldest was born. I don't pump..... You can definitely still get pregnant.

Google is wrong. If you breastfeed every three hours including at night it provides SOME protection against getting your period again. But you can get pregnant before your first period even happens.

On the other hand a nine month old should be getting more solid food than a spoonful a day.

It is possible to get pregnant while breastfeeding but only if you're periods are back and you're ovulating. I got pregnant with my second around 10/11months pp with my first. She was on 3 meals a day and only breastfed for nap time, bed time and night feeds. My midwives with both babies have said all it takes is 1 missed feed for whatever reason for your body to ovulate again which is why its not a reliable contraceptive

i got my period back 8 months postpartum & had 3 regular cycles before getting pregnant. he was eating solids too but breastfed around the clock still

I wish. You can get pregnant no matter what as long as your periods are back. I got pregnant 6 months after my second was born. And got pregnant with my second when my eldest was 9 months (still mostly on breast)
