6 week old slept 8 hour

My 6 week old slept last night from midnight and was still sleeping but starting to stir at 8am. Is this too long for his age?

After her regained his birth weight the midwife said he was big enough to not have to wake for feeds every 4 hour, but this was when he was sleeping 5 hour stretch, whereas last night he went 8 hour

Nothing to worry about unless you see other worrying symptoms. This was about when my son started sleeping through the night (only lasted about 2 months 🥲).

I wish my 5 week old can start to do whole night sleeps like yours soon!

Are you ebf? Pediatrician and lactation consultant repeatedly tell me we cannot control sleep but as long as baby looks satisfied after nursing and having plenty of wet and dirty diapers they should be ok! Periodically checking their weight gain and confirm it’s in the right trajectory is also a good idea

Anyone else have zero libido?

I have no interest in sex whatsoever 8 months postpartum. I still think my partner is attractive and I notice attractive people around but that's as far as it goes. Zero interest not even for a kiss past a peck on the lips. I am thinking about kissing my partner full blown snog because it's been so long and I don't want to lose that feeling but I just don't feel bothered. Anyone else ever been through this?

Sex

Heyy fellow moms my husband and i just had the sex talk together tonight.

Honestly I can remember the last time my husband and i had sex. We'll tonight while we were talking he said to me that we are at an age where we shouldn't be having alot of sex. Mind you we are 31 only having sex maybe once a month maybe 5 times a year at most. Can anyone else relate to this? How did or do you deal with this.?

Thanks,
A really down mom.

Anyone else have regret? Does it get better?

Tl;dr does anyone relate to not really liking their baby and does it get better?

From the end of my pregnancy to now almost a year later, I’ve had such a difficult time with my baby. Postpartum has been really hard and I’m exclusively pumping and having a lot of issues with my baby’s sleep and he’s just always been and continues to be a fussy baby. I try to connect with him but my cup runs empty a lot and I don’t have a village to lean on. Anyone else can relate to regret having their baby almost a year later? Does it get better when they’re toddlers? My boy is super energetic and won’t sit still but is really reactive and I feel like I have nothing in common with him personality-wise. Originally, I wanted a girl I could sit and read and paint with and that’s not what I got. I kind of wish I could have a do-over and roll the dice on a baby again because it seems my friends have chill and easy babies and I’m doing all this on hard mode, feeling really depleted and not seeing things get better.

Sex

I gave birth on the 23rd and had an episiotomy which hasn’t given me to much bother tbh. I feel mentally ready to have sex but wondered if anyone else had? It feels fine down there but I’m nervous!

Milton sterilise

Hi we’re staying in a hotel next week and will need to use Milton to sterilise (normally we use microwave but they don’t have one to use)
How do I rinse them after I’ve sterilised them do you just hold them or do I empty the milton water then fill the bucket back up with boiling water?
