UK, shoe size charts for children. 🤯🤯🤯

Does this happen to you too? I am trying to shop for shoes and I am finding the sizing guides are completely off!

I order the size we need according to the size chart and they are too small lenght wise. I have to go up like 2 sizes for the shoe to fit.

Before anyone tells me to get his feet measured at store, I am measuring them correctly with an unbranded gauge, I get the measurements in cm and we also went yesterday to a store and the same happened with the shoes in the store. The problem is not the width of the shoe, but the lenght.

Honestly I have no idea I got my LO measured and she was 6.5 got her some trainers in 6.5 from Vinted and they were massive so I have no idea 😣

When my daughter was younger, I used the Start-Rite measuring gauge at home which I found 100% accurate for width and also shoe size.

Went in-store to Clark’s and their tool measured my daughter as 2 sizes bigger and narrow width (F). She is in fact 2 sizes smaller and a wide width (H). Even tried on the shoe size they recommended and she couldn’t even fit her foot into the shoe lol.

My daughter is age 6 now and we use the BeGreater shoe measurer which is accurate.

Start rite and Clarks sizing is different and some shops also use the EU sizing 🫠

Every single shop and brand will have their own way of sizing, always best to go in store and try. Much like qomens clothing

Sex

Heyy fellow moms my husband and i just had the sex talk together tonight.

Honestly I can remember the last time my husband and i had sex. We'll tonight while we were talking he said to me that we are at an age where we shouldn't be having alot of sex. Mind you we are 31 only having sex maybe once a month maybe 5 times a year at most. Can anyone else relate to this? How did or do you deal with this.?

Thanks,
A really down mom.

Baby rolling in sleep

My nearly 5 month old isn’t properly rolling yet however in his sleep rolls onto his side. I always roll him onto his back, but I wake up again and he’s back on his side! This morning I found him face down and I was in such a panic. Of course he was fine but now I’m so worried!! Anyone else’s little one do this?

Anyone else have regret? Does it get better?

Tl;dr does anyone relate to not really liking their baby and does it get better?

From the end of my pregnancy to now almost a year later, I’ve had such a difficult time with my baby. Postpartum has been really hard and I’m exclusively pumping and having a lot of issues with my baby’s sleep and he’s just always been and continues to be a fussy baby. I try to connect with him but my cup runs empty a lot and I don’t have a village to lean on. Anyone else can relate to regret having their baby almost a year later? Does it get better when they’re toddlers? My boy is super energetic and won’t sit still but is really reactive and I feel like I have nothing in common with him personality-wise. Originally, I wanted a girl I could sit and read and paint with and that’s not what I got. I kind of wish I could have a do-over and roll the dice on a baby again because it seems my friends have chill and easy babies and I’m doing all this on hard mode, feeling really depleted and not seeing things get better.

I don’t want her to grow up! ☹️

Not a crazy post but maybe a crazy mommy. It’s so weird how having a baby completely rewires your brain! Before getting pregnant my husband and I agreed that we would NEVER cosleep! We said as soon as we get home from the hospital for the first week or two she would sleep in her bedside bassinet then we put her in her crib in her own room. Weeellll day one she slept in the bed, we thought just this once! She’s little and I wanted to get all the newborn snuggles on my first night home. Two months old now and she hasn’t left our bed 😭 I dread thinking about putting her in her own room. I don’t even want to put her in the bassinet! I told myself I’d never have a velcro baby but now I’m a Velcro mommy!! I don’t want her to leave ☹️☹️ I’d feel like I’m losing my baby 😭 (pic from her daddy 🥹)

Good idea but I am knackered

Saw on tiktok that if you are getting stressed and the baby is crying to put on headphones and bounce with the baby, as the music is calming you, you then calm the baby, something like that, my daughter wouldn't settle this morning so I tried it, a bit of Boney M, macrerna, cha cha slide, Low and cotton eye Joe, I don't know it's what I fancied listening too, weird I know but anything else I would've fallen asleep, at least an hour of this and she's sort of asleep or going to sleep, had to stop my back was aching, need sleep myself now I am sweating and awake 😂

Dripping with colostrum at 23 weeks

I’m 23+4 and for the past week or so I’ve noticed I am producing loads of colostrum, it’s literally dripping down me. I’m worried that I’m inadvertently putting pressure on my boobs and it’s causing them to leak, could that be the case? Or am I just producing loads of colostrum already??
