Would you allow for your child’s father to see your child if the father stated to the child that “ if you don’t start calling me more, I’ll have to pop up to your home” several times through out the call where it was more like an interrogation rather than a meaningful conversation. His father gets paranoid and demands very frequent phone calls from our child and gets upset when our child doesn’t call him exactly when he wants. His father has been in and out of jail prior and was recently released from prison , and has made no positive progress since his release. I have been supervising visits but his dad was very pushy and started demanding overnights and unsupervised visits. There’s more but with the recent threat of him “popping up” I felt it’s best for him to seek some help before I bring my son for visits again.

I think you’ll make the right decision. It’s hard when they are so pushy. If you should need to document these actions, perhaps a restraining order. You should live wondering if he pops in
