Getting Anxious 😮‍💨

I’m 30 weeks and been staying with my fiancé’s family to save money before the baby. Me, my fiancé and my 1 year old son stay in 1 room so we’ve had no room to stock up on anything.

When we had my son we were overly prepared his whole room was packed with stuff so this time around I feel very unprepared.

We’re moving before the baby comes in September but time is moving so fast I’m starting to panic a little. I’m having a hard time focusing on planning because I’m thinking about so much that needs to be done at once. Has anyone else felt this kind of anxiety towards your last trimester?

yes and it’s very common!! it’s a maternal instinct to have everything prepared and ready for when your baby arrives, my family calls it the “third tri panic” 😭

If it helps I’m in somewhat of a similar situation I guess?, 33weeks and 3 days pregnant with our first baby but we’re in a small crowded 1 bed flat and have been struggling to prepare for the the baby.., and on top of that we’re moving just before or just after she’s here, and barely packed.. (she’s also due in September) and nothing is really ready for her and neither is our new place meanwhile dealing with our stressed cat (due to the pregnancy) and the struggle with money is a real issue too so I’ve been panicking myself about these things and how everything is going to work out😞

Girl don’t stress. Take it one day at a time. Even though there’s a lot to do, you can’t solve all your problems in one day. Enjoy the time you have with your first born while it’s just him. Once baby is born, as long as they are fed clothed safe place to sleep and loved everything is going to be okay. You can stock up on supplies once in the new house. It’s never too late as you already know being a mother. I’m having my third in September and we’re just winging it with supplies because it turned out my second didn’t like anything I stocked up on and it went wasted 🤷‍♀️

When did you start to think and talk about your birth plan

I’m 27+3 weeks and I’m a type a person. I like to have a plan and know what is going on. This is my first pregnancy and I don’t know what to expect or when to asked my midwife what she thinks about my labour. I don’t even know when to start talking about it with my husband. I don’t wanna google as that never goes well for me 😂.

Anxious as don’t have symptoms

I’m 14 + 4, I know this is lucky as some are so unwell but I’ve had no symptoms at all that it’s actually made me anxious. I’m starting to feel that I’m not pregnant at all and booked another scan but just wondering if anyone else feels the same and what point they looked pregnant rather than just bloat!!

Maternity pillows

Has anyone started using a maternity pillow yet? If so, which ones? I hated the pillow that I had for my first pregnancy, it was long and made me so hot😅 so wanting to find one that's more comfortable

Weight..

Anyone else had more off an appetite in the first trimester, then they did in the second? I am finding my self not very hungry obviously I’ll eat but I had a beta appetite in the first trimester. I’ve been keeping an eye on my weight and weighing my self weekly and I’m probably putting on 1lb a week!

I normally get hungry around the 5am or late night about 10pm but them times I’m in bed 😴😴😭
