Back to work…

I went back to work today after a week off, and honestly, I couldn’t care less about being there. All I could think about was my baby growing in my belly and how much sleep I’m missing out on while sitting in the office. I really hope I’m not the only one feeling like this.

I felt this way when I was pregnant... work just didn't really interest me at 35 weeks pregnant 😂 you are definitely not alone!

You're not alone in that sentiment. It was hard leaving my first child in daycare when I needed to finish school and work FT. It was the push I needed to consider being a SAHM for future kids, which I'm grateful to be doing now.

Just focus on what you are able to do and make the most of the time outside work to be with your baby. It gets a little more manageable, but it's always a little heavy on the heart. Hopefully you can get into a good groove to enjoy work, or find some place that does fill your cup a bit better so the time apart is easier 💜

I 100% checked out at around 30 weeks.

Have you thought about when you're taking maternity leave? I was the same although I worked in a care home so took maternity from 36 weeks.

Hey

Found out I’m expecting my 2nd baby exactly a week ago!! My daughter was born 2021 so feels like a while ago for me!

I haven’t really had any symptoms, boobs growing slightly, sometimes I feel sick.. sometimes I don’t. I feel like I need to keep testing every day to confirm I’m definitely pregnant! 😩

Booked an ‘early scan’ but it’s not until the 7th August! How do you guys keep your mind of the bad? And focus on the good.. I’m a nightmare!!

I also have events coming up with friends / family for birthdays where we will be ‘drinking’ / bottomless brunch but don’t want to tell them yet so no idea how I’m going to get through the next few weeks and go alcohol free without being noticed 😂

Moan over!!
Ps - congratulations everyone xxxx

Baby boy has arrived

Ladies my August baby came early I’m so blessed overwhelmed and exhausted but extremely happy. I had to get emergency c-section due to baby boy’s heart rate kept dropping but he came out and he’s perfect

So frustrated lately

I feel like my frustration level has been so high lately at 5 months PP. I am feeling really frustrated with my partner over housework, free time, helping with the baby, making noise during feeding time, etc. I just got my first period which I'm guessing is making it worse or not helping. Im wondering if anyone else experienced this around 5 months or your first period and if it went away on its own?

I have outlined the baby.. unsure if I’ve outlined the nub. This is so confusing! Can anyone let me know if nub is visible here?
