Lie down for 20 mins and then stand up. You'll know 🙂

Put a pad on and lay down for 30 mins. Amniotic fluid is usually clear (maybe with a tinge of pink) and usually odourless, but can be sweet smelling. Check your pad after 30 mins and you should know. But if you have any doubts at all definitely call maternity triage and ask for advice x

I had a proper Hollywood moment with mine, no pad was keeping that in! If you're unsure contact your midwife unit and they can check 😊

My hind waters went in a slight trickle. My fore waters didn't go until labour. Baby was at the back of the sack and high up the birth canal. I had to birth the amniotic sac first without baby, move so this broke and then baby flew to the front ready to be born.
