Nappy brands?

Best nappies out there?
Was using aldi size 2, but moved to fred & flo which seem to hold pee better.
Using last of aldi we have, but seems an awkward fit and has caused friction burn.

Absorption pattern seems to change in size 3 fred & flo so wondering if baby will leak through them as well!

Baby boy is 12lb 5 for ref.

Thanks!

Sainsbury’s, Morrisons or Rascals but it’s so baby dependent. My boy is 18.5lbs and has super chunky thighs and is in a size 4 x

Childhood trauma

I had a pretty traumatic childhood, right through until I was living independently at 18.
Since having my first baby 4 months ago I’ve gone no contact with my mum, mainly because I haven’t heard from her so I’ve decided to completely cut ties.
I didn’t really process my childhood until I had my own child and I’m struggling processing it all and all the memories that constantly flood my brain. I can’t understand how two people can have a child and neglect them so badly. Bully them and make them feel awful about themselves. Get blind drunk and put the pressure of looking after young babies on other children.
Anyone else been through something similar? I’ve always brushed it off but now knowing how much I love my child and how I would do anything for their happiness, it’s hit me how little my parents really cared for me and only now it hurts so badly. My husband doesn’t understand and just says I should consider therapy and doesn’t get why I’m suddenly heart broken over a parent who has always been shit to me and nothing has changed. My friends all have good relationships with their parents.

12 month development

Hi guy, wanting some help/advice. I have a 12 month old son. He hasn’t such much yet only dada and up but with no intention/context. He hasn’t clapped/pointed yet. He does understand so much, waves, high fives and shakes hand. Any advice or if someone related to this before? Thank you so much. Worried mom here.

Hellllp! 🙏

I have a beautiful 22 month old girl. But I’m really struggling with figuring out if her behaviour is normal or not as this is my first child and I don’t have any younger family members so any advice would please be so amazing!

My daughter was always a fussy baby, I did take her a few times to the health visitor for check ups but they always told me just some baby’s have bad temperament and also the fact she was breastfed could of contributed towards it.

I stopped breastfeeding around 17/18 months old, she’s just generally very moody. She does have her happy moments when I take her soft play/play group/park anywhere she can play and socialise she’s fine but other then that she’s constantly crying all the time from when she wakes up to when she goes to bed. She HATES having personal care done. Brushing teeth/hair/nappy change/washing she’s screams, crys and kicks till it’s over. She will not sit in the pushchair for even 5 minutes. She’s never been too fond of it but I would at least get 20 mins in to run an errand now she won’t even sit in it at all. I have to carry her everywhere I go no matter how far it’s gotten to the point where I don’t even take the pushchair out anymore because my shoulder was getting too much pain from holding her while pushing an empty pushchair. I know that’s a bit enabling but I couldn’t physically push it and carry her anymore. She has these melt downs. They will last around 20-60minutes but it’s not normal crying it’s inconsolable screaming/hair pulling/kicking she will even try climb onto the coffee table and go near the edge I don’t know if it’s a reaction thing. Her sleeps amazing. She wakes up at 5am every day but sleeps solidly through the night and has a 2.5hr nap in the day. Her earrings also amazing I am so grateful but I am so emotionally and physically exhausted I am terrified to have more kids! I do have gp for her again in a few weeks but nothing ever comes of it. Every day every task is a physical battle of screaming and stress sometimes she screams so hard she literally falls asleep of being so exhausted. I tried giving pain relief but that never helps unless she’s teething

Sorry for the long post if anyone has ever been through anything similar may I please hear any advice I don’t want to have my little girl be under so much stress and I am really feeling at rock bottom ❤️

New fears unlocked 🔓

Anyone have any fears of what your kid could do to you?

I'll go first.... My daughter poked me in the eye yesterday, she apparently scratched my eyeball 🫠

She has also spit up in my mouth before.

Brother has explosive pooped on my shirt.

What are some that y'all have dealt with 🫠

Dummy tips

Any tips to get my 10 week old to take a dummy? EBF and won’t connect 20 minute sleep cycles unless she’s sucking on my nipple/shield🤣 we’ve tried 4 different types and have tried dipping in milk before hand. We’re using ardo nipple shields if anyone has any experience or recommendations
