Where I'm from, babies don't usually go out until much later. Personally, I'm waiting until he's three months old to take him out in public.

lol … we were outside week 2 👀 but also, the 2nd kid with an existing 2 year old experience is much different than the first. With the toddler we have no choice but to get out or we’d go bananas.

I waited till my daughter was at least a month. Even then I didn’t really want to. But I had no choice as I had to leave and no one was home to watch her when I left.

I’ve been taking baby out since she was 2 weeks old, and I have a perfectly healthy happy baby and no signs of illness aH. But I understand as most people told me not to until 3 months old but I personally think if you’re good about hygiene and have the baby dressed correctly, and the baby is generally in good health, it should be fine.

Same we were outside by week two. We definitely took precautions. We didn’t go to super crowded places. It was mainly walks in the park, family’s house, occasionally run an errand. He gets his two months shots next week, so we’ll probably do a little bit more outing then but I would lose my mind if I sat in the house for two months straight lol

I think our first outing was at 2 weeks. I didn’t allow stranger to touch her (OFC! Even tho they asked which is literally crazy lol). It honestly helped a lot with my PPD to just go to a store with her and my husband. The first outing was hobby lobby and we got some yarn because I crochet. Just a chill outing with no pressure or agenda and it was honestly a great start!

With my first, it was at 2 months only because he was in the nicu for those 2 months. My husband is a firefighter and we didn’t have as big of a support system as we do now. You do what you have to. My second was 1 week. I had to take her to my one week post op appointment because it’s easier for me to get a babysitter for one than both kids. We went on a proper outing with both kids at 2 weeks– I had to get my son’s jiggles out

My 2nd was 36 hours old when we went to her sister's gymnastics class 😆
