Co parenting

How do you co parent with a 2 month old? I can’t bring myself too let my baby go stay with her dad and his family but also don’t think it’s fair if she is away from him just because we couldn’t make things work🫠 navigating, postpartum and break up is fucking hard

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. 😊 Everyone's situation is different, but personally, I would wait until she's at least 8–9 months old before letting her stay overnight. I have a two-month-old too. For example, my mother-in-law washed his bottles once (she meant well), but there was still soap residue left on them. 😅 It's little things like that—they just don't always notice the same details we do as moms.

No period but still negative tests

My period is 3 days late. Yesterday morning I had a negative test, this mornings was invalid, then this afternoon negative again.
I’m getting awful cramping and nausea.
My periods were 29 day cycles until I took the pill for a month a year ago, then went to 32 day cycles until a chemical pregnancy in March, then back to 29 day cycles.
Has anyone had a negative tests with a period that late but actually been pregnant and had a viable pregnancy?
Thank you

Do you support IVF?

I saw a discussion elsewhere that discussed mostly religious people saying they disagree with IVF because it’s “playing god” and “unnatural.” There were people in that discussion that can’t conceive naturally and they say that’s just god’s will so they wouldn’t do IVF.

The waiting game

Even tho it is going by so fast it just feels so slow :(. No labor signs. Patience is running low. I know it could be any day now but I’m so mentally and physically exhaustedddddd. I’m thinking of trying the castor oil soon 🥲

Raising a mixed baby without father's cultural influence

Hiya,

My son is half Indian and I am Puerto Rican. My ex and I do not speak, nor do I speak with any of his family members. I don't know what I'm doing in regards to his cultural heritage and I really don't want him to grow up missing a part of himself. I would love to expose him to his other side, but I don't know where to start. Has anyone been through this before? Do you have any advice?
