No, I don't know the life circumstances that led anyone to "choose" to be on benefits and the majority of people who are on them do need them and aren't exactly living an extravagant lifestyle. I know for some people they can get more money as well as more time with their children if they are on benefits so it doesn't even make financial sense for them to work if they don't want to so of course they should do that š¤·š¼āāļø

I wonāt say hate but I do know a few ppl who are very much so able bodied and refuse to work and expect others to financially provide for them and it rubs me the wrong way bc they act entitled to it . I am not referring to a parent I am referring to someone who stays home and just games the entire day and has other family members fund their life

If you're on benefits but not working the government has to approve of what you're doing in the meantime, guess what one of those things are? Parenting.
Mind your own employment status, mind your own wallet, mind your own family. If you aren't in a position to help, then you aren't in a position to judge either.

If someone chooses not to because they can get more money from benefits than working and paying for nursery then go get that moneyyyyy. If they are living alone no kids and just canāt be arsed to work at all then yeah theyāre a bit of a dick.

I do not assume to know everyone's situation, especially working as an advocate. I don't hate anyone. The amount of people who actually abuse the system is so small and this stereotype really hurts people who actually need assistance.

Your very misinformed.
You can't just be on benifets for the sake of it..
If you are required to work then the job centre will be on your back making sure you are looking for work full time or in full time work.. There is no such thing as being able to be on benifets because you prefer it.
That's not how the system works. If you have children they allow you not to work up until they are 3 years old but by the time they hit 1 they are on your back and you have to go to regular appointments to do cv planning or to look for work and the closer they get to age 3 the more you go in and responsibilities you have.
The only time you can stay in benfiets without responsibility is when you have a disabled child and you are their full time carer AGAIN you need alot of proof for this and you are litreally busy looking after a child with extra needs.
Please educate yourself before saying such things or having hate for people for no reason.
Also being on benfiets your surviving, not having a luxury life.

It pisses me off when people on benefits are going on holiday & dressing in designer but because I have a job Iām not entitled to any help from the government even on piss low maternity pay

Yeah they canāt just choose to be unemployed and get benefits. Thatās not how that works.

Another rage bait post. And again, put themselves under incognito.
Im on benefits. I have two kids. Iām a SAHM. BUT, Iām now 31, worked since I was 13, before I had my daughter I had a job for 10 years in the same place and moved up 5 different job roles, but my mental health went down and the business was not the same and did not care. I handed in my notice, fell pregnant and hadnāt returned to work since. My husband works, but we canāt afford nursery for two children for my to work full time and actually see a benefit from my wage.
Iād be very careful on how you word things, and especially before you know peopleās circumstances to assume that they are just lazy and want to stay home to āeatā (which may I add is ridiculous)
Yes some people are on benefits and spend all their money on crack or some shit but you cannot class everyone as that.
