Positive Induction stories with no epidural

I’m looking for positive inductions where you didn’t have an epidural. I’m likely going to be induced around 39-40 weeks due to high bmi and I’m quite nervous about it. I also have some fear around getting an epidural (have heard a lot of stories of lingering back pain afterwards) and am hoping to avoid getting one. Please share your positive stories with me! when did everyone leave their first baby with someone else not in their own house for the first time? my boy is almost 10 weeks and i still don’t feel comfortable leaving him in someone else’s house yet

6 week check up at the GP

Hi everyone I was just wondering who has had their 6 week check up at the GP and what did it entail? Mine is in a couple weeks and I’m wondering if they’ll check my stitches as I had a second degree tear? I also wondered what else they discuss and ask at this appointment
