Symptoms

Second (or more) time mums, are your symptoms now similar to your first or different? I’m finding it hard not to compare to my first, and I think because it’s a bit different it’s making my anxiety worse 😬

My symptoms are pretty similar - none😂 apart from sore nipples. I don’t remeber my sickness starting until around 6-7 weeks last time and I’m only 5 atm x

All my systems are completely opposite to my first. With the my first during the first trimester i was nauseous constantly and couldn’t eat anything except for toast or crackers. This time round I don’t have any nausea and can’t stop eating 😂
I also think having a toddler does help you not think about it as much because you’re busy with them

I didnt find out i was pregnant with my first until I was 10 weeks pregnant so all the symptoms this time are new!

I’m on baby number three and none of my pregnancies have ever been the same this one I got a lot of morning sickness. I don’t know if it’s because of my prenatal pill or what but lotta sickness. My nose always was a canon every pregnancy so it’s very crucial over here. Cravings is fresh fruit for me.

Im trying not to compare too! I didn’t get much of nausea with the 1st but im getting waves of it this time (no sickness yet). Tiredness and anxiety is also kicking in but again I’m dealing with my toddler’s 2 years sleep regression 🤪

Definitely don't compare.

1st pregnancy with my daughter, I was sooo sick! For weeks! It was awful. Then about 30 weeks+ I had awful SPD.

2nd pregnancy with my son, sickness wasnt as bad, tiredness and fatigue was next level, no hip issues but my feet and legs swelled next level! Yuck!

This is my 3rd currently 5+6 occasional nausea, tiredness, odd food aversion that's it so far.

Anyone else feeling uncomfortable already 🙃

I’m 30 weeks today and I’m just exhausted. My bump feels massive, I’m out of breath all the time. Not sure if it’s cause this time I’m running around after a toddler but it’s so much harder second time around

Is the heat making everyone give birth early?!

I feel like everyone is having their August babies early! I don’t even have my hospital bags packed?

Down 30 lbs, but feeling discouraged...

I have lost 32.4 lbs since really trying to focus on my health. I'm proud of this change, but I've recently received some discouraging words from my mother. I mentioned the weight loss to my mom and her response was, "I didn't even notice. You'd think 30 lbs would be enough to start to make a dent." She also talked about how I've lost weight before and I just let myself go again and get fat again. (I did lose 100 lbs about 5 years ago, and unfortunately I did gain some of it back when having my son and with 4 other pregnancies all ending in miscarriages.) My mom has always been my biggest critic, so I'm trying to not let it get to me, but I hear those words in my head constantly and I am starting to feel discouraged. I logically know there is a difference. I have gone down 2 pant sizes. My husband tells me he has seen a huge difference not only looking at me, but also in my energy level. My doctor is happy with my progress and for the first time in years, my blood pressure is normal, which he credits to the weight loss and life style changes. I can even see a difference when looking in the mirror, but I now can't look into the mirror without hearing her words. I guess I just need some support and encouragement and want to know how you all don't let the harsh words and negativity of others get to you. Any advice? I just don't want to let her win and give up on myself like I have in the past...
