Rocking chair yes or no

Hey mamas! I’m having my first baby and I’m sorting out his nursery so no clue on some things. My question is a rocking chair a necessary or helpful item to purchase for the nursery or is it a waste of money and space? Xx

I appreciate any advice xx

I bought a comfortable recliner chair and used it in my nursery for both of my kids. Once we didn’t need it in their rooms, we moved it into our living room.

Please get one. Do it for me and my hurting back because I didn’t 😂

yes definitely! i didn’t buy one (didn’t have space) but everytime i’ve been somewhere else with one (church, daycare, etc) it’s SO much easier. i wish i would’ve had one all along

I got a nice reclining one and I ended up sleeping in it a night or two. Def worth it.

Would you be uncomfortable if you were breastfeeding and a random woman was staring at your breasts?

She’s literally staring and gazing into your breasts

Stopping formula

Hey, just wanted to get some advice on when / how to stop formula! Is it a straight swap to cows milk on their first birthday? Or swap one bottle a day or something and do it gradually? Also, what kind of bottles should we be using?

I breastfed for 10 months and still have some freezer stock aswell, should I still give him this after he turns one?

Thank you 😊

Am i being stupid??

I've requested that once I've had my little girl other then my partner and my mom, i don't want anyone else to hold her until i have.. I've being told im being put to sleep for my section.
Im being called selfish and cruel.. Being told that ill be too out of it to know if anyone has held her anyway..
Is ther anything i can do?

Breast feeding - should I give up

My little lady is 11 days old and I have been combi feeding her with breast and formula.
To keep my supply I have been pumping around 3 times a day as baby girl isn’t always keen on the boob. ( always offer boob before formula) I have also been giving her bottles of my breast milk.
My boobs have been tender since I started but today I have never felt pain like it. My right boob I can’t even touch. It’s so sore and I have a big bruise on the side. Feeling a bit deflated and feeling to just give up as it’s just far too painful!

Any tips?
