Feeling like no one is listening to what i want

Am i being stupid??

I've requested that once I've had my little girl other then my partner and my mom, i don't want anyone else to hold her until i have.. I've being told im being put to sleep for my section.
Im being called selfish and cruel.. Being told that ill be too out of it to know if anyone has held her anyway..
Is ther anything i can do?
I've told people many of times and no one other then my mom is listening to me

Nobody should call a mother to be selfish and cruel. Don't be scared to stand your ground. It is your child!

Who’s calling you selfish?

I would honestly say to the hospital that you don’t want anyone else in apart from them! They probably won’t allow that many visitors anyway and I’m sure they won’t let many people hold your baby before you wake up! Make sure you speak to the midwife/ doctors about it that are dealing with your hospital visit xxx

Umm tell the midwifes / doctors and reception that you only permit your partner and mum there. That's ridiculous other people thinking that they can do what they want with your child.

Absolutely not. Definitely tell the hospital your wishes and they will have to follow them whilst you’re asleep. They’re lucky they’re allowed to hold the baby while you’re asleep imo. I wanted the first hold and kiss with my babies and I would’ve fought anyone who tried to disagree! X

But who else would be there other than your partner and your mother? Is your partner saying somebody else could hold them before you ? Who would that be anyway unless you mean medical staff?

Antidepressants

Am I being selfish for remaining on my fluoxetine during pregnancy. I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant and getting lots of comments regarding coming off my antidepressants for the baby’s sake.

Baby falling off the bed

I feel terrible this morning my baby fell off the bed we never bed share but he would not sleep in his crib and I was exhausted so I let him sleep on the bed with me and this morning he rolled off whilst I was asleep I woke up immediately and he was crying and settled pretty quickly. I rang 111 just to check what I needed to do as I was terrified and they told me they have to make a referral to social services as protocol and I’m taking him to a&e to get him checked he seems fine he’s happy playing with his toys alert etc no signs of injury but has anyone else had this situation before?
I’m crying my eyes out I can’t believe this has happened and I feel so guilty any advice from anyone having a similar situation would be appreciated

Not hitting motor milestones

My daughter will be 10 months in 2 days and she doesn’t crawl or officially pull to stand . She can get from sitting to hands and knees and sometimes take one or two movements then collapses . She pivots occasionally . She pushes backwards . But has been in this scenario since 7 months . She can hold the sofa or an object for a minute or two when placed . She has pulled to stand on my knees once but never again or never on an object . She can pull from sitting to her knees when she holds a chair or soft . Barely rolls . Is comfortable sitting all day and reaching from sitting for a toy then back to sitting . Can’t go from lying down to sitting . She gets frustrated and screams because she can’t get something and doesn’t know how to reach for it as she hates ending on her tummy . Her legs I’d say are pretty strong she always reaches for me and basically does the pulling up work just using my hands . She is ahead of her social and communication milestones it’s just the motor ones . Any advice ? Is there something that helps . Could this be an issue ? Or any one who has been in a similar situation . I just see all these babies way younger than her crawling around and pulling to stand and I’m starting to be concerned .

Braxton Hicks vs Actual Contractions

Is it just me or is anyone else getting so stressed out about trying to work out if they’re just experiencing braxton hicks contractions/false contractions versus actual contractions? 🥲

I’ve had quite intense pain and aching in my lower back that’s come and gone since I woke up this morning, and the sensation of it is making me want to cry, but I’m stressing myself out more trying to figure out if I need to lock in and be ready for active labour to start soon or if I’m just being dramatic 😂

Stopping formula

Hey, just wanted to get some advice on when / how to stop formula! Is it a straight swap to cows milk on their first birthday? Or swap one bottle a day or something and do it gradually? Also, what kind of bottles should we be using?

I breastfed for 10 months and still have some freezer stock aswell, should I still give him this after he turns one?
