Reassurance scans

I’ve got my reassurance scan booked for 6 weeks + 1 day, and I’m starting to worry it might be a bit too early. I’ve known I was pregnant since 3 weeks + 6 days, so waiting for this scan has honestly felt like a lifetime. The idea of pushing it back another week feels so far away.

Has anyone else had a scan at 6+1? Were you able to see the baby and a heartbeat, or were you told it was too early and asked to come back a week later?

I’d love to hear other people’s experiences!

I was 7 weeks when they could see a heartbeat, they couldnt see it at 5+4 but not sure if they would have been able to at 6. Dr google says can be detected from 5.5 to 6 weeks so maybe! I know how you feel not wanting to wait any longer though I was the same 🤞🤞✨️ for you xx

I had a scan at 5 weeks and saw baby & heartbeat. I think you should be fine at 6 weeks lovely x

I had a scan at 5weeks 5 days and all they saw was a sac and yolk. But that was done abdominal. If you have transvaginal you may see a heartbeat then, but if you don’t, don’t initially panic every pregnancy progresses different. I know someone who has twins at 6weeks 2 days one had a heartbeat the other didn’t… went back a week later and the other one then had a heartbeat too x

Line??

I need help… I cannot tell if there is a line? I’ve been very nauseous really only at night time, I’ve been super tired, and if I don’t eat the second I wake up I feel awful. I don’t know if this all just happens to be a coincidence or if it’s too early to test. But I’ve heard that there’s a line and there isn’t so I need help.

Super active baby movement

I am 38 weeks and 5 days. My baby has been continuously super active. Rolling twisting since evening. Very very active. Is this normal?

pains

i’m 38 weeks pregnant with my first, and since 3pm i’ve been having intense pains in my back (mainly my left side) and mostly all over my abdomen and it comes and goes every few hours but since around 9:30 it’s been worse and it felt like it just wasn’t stopping.
what do i do ? as i’m unsure about calling triage as last time i went in for pains i basically got told it was nothing and i seemed fine so to keep an eye on it 😔😬

Dose anyone else get achy when they sit too long or lay down to long?

I’ve realised over the last few weeks that if I sit too long like watch a movie, I get very achy down there and it’s the same for laying down to long! Every morning when I wake up, and I try to sit up, I’m just achy!
The annoying thing is, it happens if I walk for too long too so it feels like I can’t win at the moment!

Stomach cramps post birth

I just wanted a little bit of advice or to know if this is normal. I gave birth yesterday at 10:30am since then I have been having period like cramps. I know that breastfeeding can cause this as it’s drawing your uterus back down in size however I don’t remember having it like this with my first. I am really struggling because it gets very painful. Do I need to worry or will it pass/get easier soon?
