It's pretty typical to not show yet, especially if this is your first. Most start showing around 16-20 weeks, but I've known a couple of women who barely showed into their 3rd trimester 😅

Some women don't show until 16 weeks and I have friends who could easily hide even past 20 weeks.

Girl I’m 20 almost 21 and got a tiny beer belly not even round yet lol Appreciate the lack of weight we aren’t carrying while we aren’t carrying it. Lol

I didnt show until I was around 20 weeks for all 6 of mine so I think its normal. I also think it depends on the woman because I've also seen some friends that didnt show until the 3rd trimester

Everyone's different. I remember seeing an article about these 2 friends they were born pregnant at the same time they documented their bumps together 1 barely ever looked pregnant and the other looked normal. Both babies were healthy and fine. Also have you seen the show bib didn't know i was pregnant? A lot of those ladies never gained any weight. I remember 1 episode saying that the baby was more to her back that's why she didn't.

This is very normal

If you’re super skinny then it’s normal for later to show also especially if it’s your first. Your abs will hold it in longer. I gained a ton of weight with my first two and I’m pregnant with my third so I already had a belly but I started showing at lol 6 ish weeks this time

Personally. I never really “popped”, around 25-30 weeks it was finally like more belly/bloat little bump. I’m always sad because I never got to do a maternity shoot between waiting to pop and him being born @ 34 weeks 😅 GET THE PICTURES

Waters broke at 32+5

My waters broke on Friday night at 32 weeks and 5 😳! Super scary (and just like the films!) but been in hospital since and labour doesn’t seem to happening naturally (no contractions or heavy bleeding since an initial loss on Friday) so they’ll keep me for three days and then send me home and I’ll just come in if something changes. If not they’ll re-book my section for 37 weeks!!
Really nervous about having a pre-term baby and the potential of NICU. My last baby was 4lbs 13, 10 days early but absolutely fine. Does anyone have any success stories of babies born 6+ weeks early? Thanks in advance x

Feeling overwhelmed

I’m 36+3 and feel like I’m loosing my marbles! I watch my wife go to work, do overtime, go to placement (she is a student as well as working) and I stay home and do what? I finished work week ago and I feel like it’s been the longest week of my life. I am trying to get bits and bobs done in a house to get ready for the baby but I get tired so easily as well. I feel guilty for not doing more, but when i push myself too much I am in agony with my back and hips afterwards. Anyone else feeling like this? I am panicking that nothing is ready and then fall asleep sitting up or struggling to find energy to move. Please tell me I’m not the only one!

Diabetes

My baby started nursery at 11 months she became unwell within the first week which I was expecting. However this illness has not left for almost 3 months she’s had 2 lots of antibiotics. Steroids and now on an inhaler my poor baby hasn’t been herself since she started nursery.
We are now looking into diabetes as she has an excessive thirst she is constantly asking for water throughout the day and night her nappies are always full. The nursery even said they’ve not seen a baby love water this much before and it’s only just occurred to me her symptoms align with diabetes.

I just wondered if anyone has been through a similar thing with the water ?
