Pressure - not quite 37 weeks!

I’m due my third (I’ll be 37 weeks on Tuesday) and I was induced around 40 weeks with both of my children. I’ve been to triage today for RFM but she was absolutely fine! And she has since been SUPER active.

But this evening I’ve got a pressure/weight/bruised feeling right along my knicker line, at the bottom of my bump. It’s noticeably stronger when standing or sitting upright.

Any ideas?

My baby fell 😢😢😢 has this happened to you?

My husband was with my baby and he was starting to wake up.. I was in the other room sleeping and heard the thud… then heard my baby scream and my husband cry out and my baby crying so loud 😩 I ran out and just saw my husband hugging him.. he fell from the bassinet and he cried with actual tears. I asked to help him… and by that time he had calmed down and stopped crying as my husband was apologizing to him and holding him. When I help him he looked like he wanted to nurse and was sticking his tongue out… he fell asleep pretty normally and I was touching his face (my husband said he landed on his face) to see if he was in any main or if anything felt weird… anyways my baby is 7 weeks old. I’ll take him to the doctor later today but I’m just super upset and nervous right now. Has this happened to anyone else ? Was your baby ok…. I hate saying things but one of my biggest fears/ unspoken insecurities is that my baby will get a brain injury or a developmental delay. I’ve always fears this because I’m a social worker and am around it everyday for work… any ways pls let me now if this happened to anyone or what u think 😩 is he gunna be ok

Preeclampsia Birth Trauma

Hi everyone. I’m 4 months PP, my daughter was delivered @ 35wks via emergency c-section for preeclampsia, & I recently was diagnosed with PPAD & OCD. I had been having nightmares and wasn’t able to sleep and it was causing severe anxiety. I feel like I have unresolved trauma & PTSD from my birth. I didn’t think I did, but I still think about it a lot, and I’m bitter and upset because I had planned an unmediated birth. I missed out on my golden hour and special moments because I was in horrible shape and on a 24hour mag drip and in the ICU afterwards with leg compressions on, the whole 9 yards. My daughter was healthy and fine and I’m so grateful- but I feel like it really affected me.
Does anyone else have a similar experience? How did you move forward and manage the feelings of missing out in your own birth?

How is everyone coping in the “could it be today?” Phase?!

I’m 38+1 and have now been on maternity leave for the last week - nesting is taking up most of my time but when I’m trying to relax, all I’m thinking is “omg what if I go into labour today” anyone else?! 🤣

How are you holding up?

Hey lovelies! 😃
Just checking in on those who had their July babies already , how are we all holding up mentally, emotionally, physically?
I know so much is going on and we don’t really get time to check in on ourselves….
