My LO is 8 months and I'm offering him normal pasta in shape of fussilli but found people saying specifically "baby pasta" should I only give him those star shaped ones? Also it is easy to eat anyway? Do you mash it?!! I don't really understand how do you offer them!

Pasta once fully cooked can be offered as is! When my daughter was first starting I would overcook the pasta to get me peace of mind.

‘Baby pasta’ is an absolute scam normal pasta is fine once cooked you don’t need to mash it either!

Nope, my son eats all shapes of pasta even spaghetti ( this I do cut into smaller pieces) but the rest should all be fine

There’s no real need. It’s a bit like orzo really, the star pasta is commonly used to thicken up soups and it’s just become a bit of a go to online x
