Food/snacks

My 14mo has never been a good eater in general. Regarding snacks, when and what snacks do you give your LO?

He doesn’t accept any snacks either….anyone else?

I need to vent.

I don’t know what to do about my baby daddy. I’m not sure how to go about his self destructive Behavior.

Meal ideas

Does anyone have any quick and easy dinner ideas for 10 month old??
She loves her food, but I'm not the best cook and I prefer quick and easy but full of goodness recipes than the complex million ingredient ones I've been reading in the weaning books 🫠

In law drama

To cut a long story short, my in laws don’t like me that much.
I moved in with them after we got married and they didn’t treat me very well, I put up with it and then we found our own house after about a year. Our relationship is okay, we see them once a week, but they always say we are starving them of seeing their grandchildren and blame me for it - even though it’s my husband that actually wants to come only once a week.
Anyway, there is a family wedding coming up, and some of my in laws relatives have made comments to us about being bad kids and a shame to the family.
I’ve never been the type of person to rock the boat. I prefer to just go along with things if it makes people happy. But my husband is more forward and blunt and has made the boundaries for us.
I have quite bad anxiety and I’m so nervous for these weddings. What people will do and say. I don’t know how to handle it and I don’t know how to not let myself spiral with this.
Any tips?

Baby pasta

My LO is 8 months and I'm offering him normal pasta in shape of fussilli but found people saying specifically "baby pasta" should I only give him those star shaped ones? Also it is easy to eat anyway? Do you mash it?!! I don't really understand how do you offer them!

Home Alone

Baby is 4 months next week and husband just left on a work trip, this is our first. He's only going to be gone for 2 nights, and I've never had a problem with trips before, even 7/8 months pregnant. But the Sunday scaries are creeping in as we approach bedtime.

Anybody else have days they have to take over without help? I'm sure we'll be fine, but if anybody has any advice! Tips, tricks, and anecdotes for distraction would be fun to hear about.

Family staying once baby arrives?

I’m due in Jan27, we are not sharing our exact due date so we’re not inundated with calls etc. We’ve had some family and friends already ask us when to book holiday from work so they can come up and stay with us to see the baby (some immediate family do work in jobs where they’ll need to book the leave now as rotas are planned so far in advance.) We live about 2-3 hours away from most of our family and close friends.
It’s already making me feel anxious. It will be our first baby, and I really do want to soak in those first few days just us. And after that I’d love visitors, but the thought of people staying over is scaring me. I don’t know why? I love my family and his family and our friends. But I just know I’ll be exhausted and the thought of our house being full just sounds awful. How have other people handled this without pissing off their family and friends.
