Do you believe you actually allow your child to be an individual or are you pressuring them to conform?
After all my failures with my first two children I am questioning everything about society, life and how we as a whole of society compare and pit our children against one another. Competition and standards.
While do not see me as an anti Vaxer or science denier, I’m quite the opposite. I believe these things are necessary but not in the ways and structures America has presented them. I research a lot of other countries primarily Sweden and Norway. And while no country is perfect they have a lot correct. Prenatal and post natal care in Korea is some of the best in the world encouraging higher birth rates.
It’s like America does not strive for healthy strong well rounded individuals. And when are we going to say I’m not comparing my child to the next. I am native America and Jew, my blood ties back to the land of Israel. Yet when I tell ppl that they only believe what society has taught them. I am seen as crazy. Not making my child conform to a sleep schedule is seen as risky. Not wanting to put them in school is seen as problematic. Questioning every procedure is annoying. Having a lotus birth is neglect.
I am laying in bed at 1 am thinking about how much I messed up with my oldest child. And how a lot of it was me not listening to him and his needs and desires but my need for him to conform with the normalities of society. Not being present when he needed me. I want to return to my ancestors ways and rebuke lot of Christian nationalist capitalistic ways because that is the society that has been built for us to conform to.
I’m crying seeing deeper truths about the propaganda we have been fed and intern feed to our children and we wonder why they are so angry and lost and hopeless. I failed as a mother and feel guilty that I will give this last child so much liberty and freedom that was not afforded to my first two. I feel guilty not knowing what I know now. Not having what I have now. I cry and weap for a world that will accept our children for who they are and not compared to the next in the name of science.
Sleep when they want to sleep, eat when they want to eat, walk when they want to walk, talk when they want to talk. People are speaking out how how they were nonverbal but actual had the ability to speak and chose not to. Look this up it’s eye opening. Why must be put on fake faces and smiles and pop pills to fit in? Why must we be locked in this matrix of bs and deception? I’m lost and sad and hopeful all at once.
Do you think it is important not only for development, but earth to teach your little one love & respect for nature
We are raising our son to love and appreciate nature, because in our opinion it is important for his development. To me it teaches him about wild life, different plants and trees, respect, care and appreciation. Also, I believe it is beneficial to earth to raise future generations to care for nature and to respect it. Yes, I am a tree hugger 🌲🌳 after growing up in Canada and seeing so much development and having wildlife having to flee to cities and get severely or fatally injured....I realized I want our son to know better and do his part in life 💚
Do you think it's important?
