Birthdays.

Does anyone know or have any ideas for what to do for birthdays. Novembers quite cold obviously and I’ve got 0 clue on what to do with my little girl, not only that I’ve got no clue what to think of getting her for her birthday. It’s coming so quick 🥲.

We did a softplay day with my eldest, just invited the grandparents along, and everyone took turns playing with him.
Honestly, for gifts I asked for books or money towards an annual pass for the year (chose a local zoo) so we never lacked for something to do!
Works great, weve been sooo many times and I dont feel bad about spending just a couple hours there.
They really dont need more toys, and I prefer to buy clothes secondhand (which my parents dont like doing) so I dont ask for anything 😆

I'm just renting out a hall in our local community centre as my partner and I have large families. I'm just getting my LO some sensory and development toys along with a tonies box and the my first tonies starter set

We usually have a get together for my sons birthday (hes born december 12th) and invite his granddad from wales over, plus my aunt and uncle, my sister and her kids. Its usually held at my parents house so we have more space. Unsure what we're doing this year. I did say about a hall with bouncy castle and soft play things and have a joint party between my sons and my daughters birthday as theres only 5 weeks between them. We would then invite his nursery friends

C section

Oooooo guys I have my planned c section today and I am soooo scared and nervous 😬

When did your first come?

Hi! I know people always say the first comes late, but my husband was 3 weeks early and just over 10lbs and I was over a week early and just under 9lbs, and our baby I measuring ahead by a few weeks (I know the 15% margin of error lol), so I’m trying to just have us prepared by November 1 since we’re due 12/3.

Has anyone here experienced having their first coming early just because they were “ready” to come out sooner? Inductions count, but I told my OB I only want one if I absolutely have to do it.

Just trying to be practical here and not feel crazy for wanting to have everything done an entire month before the due date including packed hospital bags and the car seat in the car 😅

Did anybody else see the video of the man who took his newborn baby from the hospital?

So he took his newborn baby from the hospital and he's claiming that it's his baby he should be able to take his baby. So from the video the mom basically told him she didn't want him to take the baby to his house because they had had a domestic abuse situation and he said it doesn't matter because I'm her father so I'm taking her. There are people who are debating about this and are saying that a father should have a right to take their baby even if it is a newborn and then there are people who are saying that a newborn should be with their mother and they can work that out later but the newborn should be with their mother first. What do you think?

anyone who has been pregnant before been told their baby was on the 95th percentile and turned out not to be the case? through my bump measurements and one scan they’re all showing over the 95th line, hoping this might not be the case but was it accurate for you??

Rolling

Is anyone's baby still not rolling? Mine seems to try when on her side but cant seem to make it. She is very strong lifting her head when doing tummy time. Is there anything you can do to help them or should I leave her to do it in her own time? First time mum so just looking for others experiences 🙂 she is also teasing us with laughs she smiles from ear to ear but has done a tiny laugh maybe 3 times

30 weeks movements

Does anyone else’s baby have active days then quiet days seems like my baby will be active one day then quiet the next then active again the day after then quiet again just wondering if anyone else has had this pattern ?
