Negative tests
I guess I’m just being hopeful
I ovulated on the 18th July - my period is due 31st July my cycles usually 30/31 days - - > I did a ultra sensitive cheap pregnancy test now (4pm ish I know I should of waited) but I take it … it’s highly highly unlikely I’m pregnant as it was negative … :( or has anyone had false negatives this close to your period due date ?

How do you know you ovulated on 18th July - are you tracking with tests or using an app?
It can show on a test 10-14 days after plus ovulation itself takes 24 hours so could be a bit early to test.
I'd wait until at least your missed period and retest with first morning urine for most accurate results.
A test taken too early in the cycle and at 4pm won't be particularly accurate.
