pls give advice

I’m 3 month’s postpartum and I feel like I’m losing my mind. My boyfriend and I broke up almost 2 months ago now because he was hanging out with other girls behind my back. I’m living with my mom and I am getting help here and there from her but I just feel so overwhelmed all the time no matter what I do. My baby won’t take my breast and only drinks out of bottles so if I’m constantly washing and pumping over and over again all day. I’m going back to school in two weeks. My babys dad hardly comes around to see her and I’m trying my best to coparent with him, but even talking to him makes me so angry. I just don’t know what to do anymore.

If u have the spectra u can buy a pump cover on Amazon and store it for 24 hr in fridge. That saved me from washing pump part bottles like crazy. Also investing in the momcozy bottle washer and sterilizer helped a lot but we found the tablet residue was getting on the bottles so now I only use to sterilize bottles (I still hand wash)

I’m sorry you are going thru this. That’s a lot to deal with on your own. Are you able to find a therapist to lean on mentally?

UK summer holidays 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇬🇧

I’m making this out of pure curiosity and just for some extra ideas…

I watched a instagram video about how someone had budgeted £500 for this summer holidays and they don’t think it’ll be enough.
This is my first school holidays and I’m term time too so no childcare or holiday club costs and I have one child!

But I can’t fathom spending £500+ for 6 weeks of school break.

I get it if you like to do expensive zoos, days out etc. but so far this week I’ve spent about £22 on activities which was £8 at a local gymnastics center with trampolines, £8 for lunch (kids eat free in dunelm cafe), £3 spent on ice creams yesterday after our park/bug hunting/bike ride picnic and another £3 on ice creams today on the way to the stream for a picnic and to catch fish!

We’ve also been to a free splash pad with friends and have done some arts and crafts at home so far.

How much does everyone else plan to spend or has spent before?

Am i kidding myself that I’m not going to spend much? Should i of budgeted more!😂

Basically a single mum needing help

So my partner/BD over the past 6 months or so has been a complete arsehole, I’ve got 2 kids to him and my 2nd baby is 4 months old but since I was last pregnant, he’s changed into a massive dick, anyway at the moment he’s been a massive arsehole like usual and I think we’re coming to the end of our relationship and luckily I don’t live with him and I have my own place but he’s not coming to mine this week and my family are busy all week or on holiday and I’ve got no friends since I had kids, my point is I can’t tidy up properly and every time I try to my baby cries as he’s very needy which I love him for but it’s tricky at times luckily my toddlers at nursery 4 days a week but even then it’s difficult when it’s just me n baby I haven’t been able to do a full house tidy in ages and I like to put my music on but I’m just finding things so difficult as I have to keep stopping 10 minutes or so and I’ve only got between 9:30am to 3pm Monday to Thursday to do anything other than that I don’t have any time especially on an evening I’m so exhausted once the kids are in bed.

If you’re a single mum with 1 or more kids how do you cope especially up keeping your home?

I’m stressedddd!

My child has been in daycare/preschool for 5 years. Preschool has taught him letters, numbers, etc and I have also worked with him at home by practicing letters, numbers, shapes, all the good stuff. We read to him every night as well since birth. My kid doesn’t know how to read, and I have no idea how to teach him how to read. How are all of these parents starting kindergarten with kids that already know how to read???

Food

Baby is 11 months old. He completely refuses to eat any food unless it’s from a pouch. I’m constantly making homemade food for him, he’ll have a spoon full and refuse the rest, no matter how much we try he literally only eats food pouches.

Anyone else having this issue? I genuinely feel like such a terrible mum because nothing I’m doing is working
