My boy doesn't speak much.. I'm starting to get worried. He recently started repeating words after Ms. Rachael and singing some rhymes. He does get meltdowns and a fussy eater... Any tips on how cope with his meltdowns in public?

We carry my son’s tablet everywhere and he can pull up one of his favorite videos to calm him down. Otherwise we just take him to a quiet area and let him have some “quiet time” and cuddles until he’s more regulated.

Meltdown... my number 2 tip.....
Imagine, during his meltdown, he is able to speak to you and says:
Mommy, please help me, I do not know how to behave in this moment.....
Always always remember that. So when he next have a meltdown, and u repeat this in your head, instead of you being charged up, you will look at it through different eyes and.not be worked up so much yourself. Xx

“Regulation before expectations” is a phrase I repeat to myself frequently. (For both myself and my son)
