Help - Baby Not Settling in Bassinet
I have a 10 day old , he has been doing so well with sleeping in his bassinet but last night was the first time he refused to sleep unless on me for skin to skin.
We went through all the possibilities for his discomfort, if he was hungry he ate , if his nappy was dirty it was changed , it was 27 degrees in our room so we kept him in his nappy to not overheat. The sound machine and light is on. The room is being cooled by a fan
Please any advice would be great ??

Our little girl refused to sleep in the bassinet from birth then we got a next2me when she was a few days old and she slept great after that! Think she just needed to be able to see us! X
It might sound backward but if baby is seeking skin to skin, its possible he is cold, even in this heat. 🙈 My baby gets cold when you would not expect her to be. She has only been down to just a nappy when it went over 30degrees in our room and even then she was in a thin sleeping bag. She loves to be warm and likes the sleeping bag to help her feel secure. You can tell with ours by touching her chest or back and it actually feels cool if she needs a layer. Also, she wont sleep without a sleeping bag, i dont think she likes too much freedom. 😂
