Hi! Is it too selfish to want to gift yourself a little something when your little one turns 1? I’m a single mom and while I love and adore my baby, I separated from his dad a little after he was born because of my mother in law, and this year has been really difficult for me. I’m giving my baby several gifts and he’s also getting presents from my family and his dad. I just doubting if I should get myself something because in the end I feel like I deserve something too after everything I went through this year! 😅😅

Not selfish at all, if it’s something you can afford go for it! It’s hard to do this with help I can’t imagine how hard it is to do it alone so you are very much deserving of a gift!

It’s not selfish to treat yourself whenever you want. We are human we have wants and needs and goals and aspirations too even though we’re mums. We need to keep our cups full however you wanna fill it, fill it so you can be happy and sane for the people around you. I get a big Shein package come for me monthly of heels/lash stuff nail stuff hair stuff, just self care stuff because I’m important too. And we don’t need an occasion 🤗
