Tired mama and fussy baby

New mom, 2 week old daughter. Lately all she wants to do is nurse. She will suck for 2 hours. Not even to get milk. To comfort herself.
Normally she does fine at night but not lately. I am just exhausted. Worn out and need help. My husband is half ass there to help. He says he wakes when she cries... he doesn't. He snores through it.

I know I am her source of food, I love her to pieces. I just need advice.

It’s a normal part of breastfeeding. Formula fed doesn’t do that ( I’m pretty sure)

I've heard there are some pacis that mimic the breast very well if im not mistaken one is called paci something? Maybe try keeping track of when she ate and seeing her cues for hunger vs comfort and try offering a paci at times of comfort to give urself some rest

She utterly refuses her paci now. She just screams and screams and screams.

She roots all the time and wants only me.
Its been like that for 3 days

It sounds likely to be a growth spurt/cluster feeding to boost your supply. It's common around 2 weeks and it will likely only last a few days in that case before her feeding gets more predictable again.

That said, if she's not swallowing, then yes, it sounds like suckling for comfort. During the day, I would set up on the couch with my stuff in reach and baby horizontal on the nursing pillow latched. When he stopped swallowing, I would give it a short time and then try popping him off the nipple but otherwise let him sleep in place. If he rooted/woke up enough to get upset, I could easily guide him back on, but if he didn't, my nipple got a break.

Is anyone else just… not enjoying pregnancy?

Please don’t judge. I’m a first-time mum-to-be, and I honestly feel like I’m not enjoying pregnancy at all. I’ve struggled with depression before, and since becoming pregnant it feels like it’s come back. I was also really sick from week 6 until week 16, so it’s only recently that I’ve been able to eat normally again.

Even though I have an amazing husband and family who support me, I still feel really lonely, like I’m the only one going through all these changes to my body and everything pregnancy brings.

I worry about my baby girl all the time if she doesn’t move, if I do too much effort, or before every scan. But I still don’t feel that strong maternal bond people talk about. Sometimes it doesn’t even feel real, and it scares me that I might be a bad mum when she’s born.
Sometimes I feel sad and crying for no reason. And I can’t wait to give birth and get back to my old self..

Has anyone else felt like this, or is it just me?

Overprotective mum? Or just no support, or just mental health?

Hi guys, a little deep but I just wanted advice.
I’m a mummy to two beautiful children and I want them to have the best version of me. I feel like I have struggled with depression for a long time but I found it quite manageable but since having my 2nd 8 months ago I feel so overwhelmed, upset, angry etc. I could go on!

It’s getting to the point that I’m scared to go out alone with the children without my partner. I’m not scared of anything in particular just feel quite anxious in general.
A lot of people have been pointing out to me how I’m too over protective about my children and I don’t do anything for myself. I have no one who takes the load of me and I have them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with no break really.
I was invited out the other night and my mother in law came to stay. Children were in bed and she dozed off. She didn’t realise the monitor had died and one of the kids were screaming so I decided to just stay in.
My mind would not let me leave that house incase she didn’t wake up and something happened to them.
Is this being over dramatic?
My partner doesn’t understand why I’m like this and I just feel myself slowly getting to an angrier version of myself.
I know it’s normal to lose yourself a bit after having children but I’m at a loss.
I can 100% handle my children but my brain makes me overthink every scenario to a point of me feeling anxious and upset to why I can’t receive help from family.
It wasn’t until I refused to leave my mother in law with them the other night that I thought maybe I’m being over dramatic or too strict on no one else looking after them,
We have little support anyway so it’s usually just me and the children while my partner works long hours.
I just want to feel better without judgement from people thinking I’m not handling mum life

Why won’t my baby stop wanting feeding/my chest

My baby boy is now 4 weeks old and I’ve found that In the past week and a half he won’t settle easily himself he will constantly want’s latched to my breast.
I’ve tried burping , exercises , entertainment when he begins to cry and the only thing that seems to settle him or put him to sleep when this happens is going back on to my breast???? Is this normal??? at times it’s even 20 minutes or even up to a hour or two at most !

Is anyone else experiencing this or have any advice

Major postpartum hair loss… panicking

I’m 15 weeks postpartum and I’m losing so much hair in clumps. Every time I run my hand through my hair I lose a handful, which is terrifying. Is it normal to lose this much hair?
I now also have noticeable thinning on both sides of my forehead, which I’ve never had before…
Is this normal and will it grow back on its own, or should I speak to my GP about it? Anyone had it this bad?
I am also getting married this winter so this is making me so sad

Need to rant

I’m a first time mom I have a almost 4 month old. I decided to go visit my sister on Tuesday she lives maybe 50 mins away from me .I exclusively breastfeed for me I pump and freeze and use that milk whenever I go out or have an appointment I fed my baby before we left to visit her and while we where there he maybe drank 3oz of milk from the bottle and went to sleep then when he woke up I proceed to breastfeed him. Well she texted me today saying she was worried about me because I’m not feeding my baby in her eyes she only saw he was drinking the bottle not breastfeeding him keep in mind she was in the kitchen and I was in the living room and she also mentions that she breastfeeded her babies and babies should be fed every hour and also that I’m not myself . I did mention I’m going through postpartum depression and I’m slowly getting back as how I use to be and I did tell her comments made me feel bad about myself and making me feel like a bad mom she proceed to say I’m sensitive and need help I did tell her I was taking meds and she said are you sure because it doesn’t seem like it and that I should also dress better because I only have one baby . What do I do ? She is my sister but when I tell her how I feel in her eyes I’m a just a sensitive person that needs to get it together

Weaning your child off the boob?

Officially have been breast feeding for a year and am over it! How do I wean him off? He’ll literally lift my shirt to get to them.
