I’ve met and known people with each name. So yes

My son is Henry and we’ve encountered maybe 5 in our lives. Only one in his class - I was expecting soooo much more. He’s 7 and I still love his name so much. It’s such a strong name. I know about 5 Oliver’s as well. No Logan’s or Lucas’ x

No Olivers, no Logans, 2 Henry's, and a lot of Lucas!

Movement concerns 28 weeks

I called triage just now to say I’ve had concerns over reduced movements, they said if I’d felt baby move at all that it was probably fine and because I have an anterior placenta that it can cushion movements.

I’ve always felt baby kick really strongly and in clear kicking sessions multiple times a day, particularly in the evening. I haven’t had that for the past week or so. I’ve only felt the occasional very soft low down movement and then yesterday I had a cluster of lightening crotch pains and braxton hicks throughout the day with a period like ache and back ache. No fluid or bleeding etc.

I just feel quite confused because I had a midwife appointment on Wednesday and she insisted I should have a movement pattern by now - the baby kicked during the Doppler and the heart beat was fine but that was probably the only time since Sunday that I’ve felt big movements like that.

I just feel a bit torn because yes I feel low down soft internal small rumble like movements occasionally like when sitting/lying when I woke up, after lunch and after dinner and it’s like 2 or 3 of them max at a time, but other than that it just feels pretty quiet and still. Movements used to feel so massive even with an anterior placenta and even if standing - is this just the new normal or should I be worried about a reduction? I’m only 28 weeks tomorrow and 50th percentile so I don’t feel like baby is so big that the space would be stopping kicks etc and I’m not feeling stretches or rolling/pushing in lieu of the kicks.

I just don’t know whether my midwife has freaked me out about a pattern and reporting reduction or if I should be pushing the very busy sounding triage lady a bit more?

Waters or pee 😭😅

I never thought I’d be one to question if my waters broke or if I just peed myself given that with my first it was a huge gush and then continuously flowed out of me until there was nothing left to leave but here we are! Lmao
I was lying in bed and went to adjust my undies because I had a wedgie (gorgeous I know 🙄😂) and there was a slight “gush” but when I say a gush it was almost like turning on a tap and letting it run on a low pressure for 3 seconds. Then it stopped. So I went to the bathroom to inspect because I was wearing a panty liner and figured it would indicate something based on the colour. But of course it missed the liner completely and had only gone up the back end of my knickers! The thing is- it didn’t have a smell. But there hasn’t been any more waters leaking or anything. Not even close to the amount that would be presenting itself if it was a full on water break.
Is there a way I can make it more obvious before I head up to the hospital to be told I’ve just peed myself? I remember reading somewhere to lie down for a few minutes and stand back up and sometimes that’ll move things/baby around to let out more waters so you’ll know 😂

Aubrey

Decided on the name Aubrey for my girl but a lot of people keep telling me that ‘Aubrey’ is the boy way of spelling the name.
What way would you spell it if you were having a girl? UK based❤️

Why do some parwnt wean their babies before 6 months?

Just genuinely curious, no hate. I just don't understand.

Like there's a mum in my babies group posting about wanting to start giving her 3 month old purees?

I had my friend round the other day and she was all "are you going to bother waiting until 6 months?"

I just thought it was standard to wait until baby could sit up straight etc?

I know there are some people that start at 4 months, but I never really understood why? Is there medical reasons? Or any other benefit to weaning earlier? Also how do you feed a 4 month old if they can't sit steadily in a high chair?

Anyone else too scared to have sex?

I’m 7 weeks PP after a c section, healed well and no issues but I’m so beyond frightened to even attempt it! I really want to get the intimacy back but I’m genuinely worried it’ll hurt or I’ll get an infection 😭

I waited until I was 4 months PP after my last section! I don’t want to do that again 😭
