I never thought Iโd be one to question if my waters broke or if I just peed myself given that with my first it was a huge gush and then continuously flowed out of me until there was nothing left to leave but here we are! Lmao
I was lying in bed and went to adjust my undies because I had a wedgie (gorgeous I know ๐๐) and there was a slight โgushโ but when I say a gush it was almost like turning on a tap and letting it run on a low pressure for 3 seconds. Then it stopped. So I went to the bathroom to inspect because I was wearing a panty liner and figured it would indicate something based on the colour. But of course it missed the liner completely and had only gone up the back end of my knickers! The thing is- it didnโt have a smell. But there hasnโt been any more waters leaking or anything. Not even close to the amount that would be presenting itself if it was a full on water break.
Is there a way I can make it more obvious before I head up to the hospital to be told Iโve just peed myself? I remember reading somewhere to lie down for a few minutes and stand back up and sometimes thatโll move things/baby around to let out more waters so youโll know ๐

my mom told me to put a panty liner on, if it soaks within 25-30 minutes itโs your water

Put another pad on and see if you keep leaking over the next few hours if you do itโs likely your water. Lay down for a while and stand up and see if you get another gush

Do the lying down like you said but pee first. So you know your bladder is empty so if thereโs any water coming out when you stand up then itโs your water and not pee

If it keeps going itโs your waters

i sat on the toilet and rocked back and forth and every time i did one or the other i leaked a little more mine was just a trickle too- went to go get checked and in the hospital parking lot i had a huge gush
