I have a 3-year-old the most adorable little boy ever. He has always, always been well mannered and such a good chill guy with the normal sleeping troubles and separation anxiety, twrriblw twosnbut not too bad jaut whinging whining but nothing too major. He's just been a little delight i say now
When he was a newborn, though, I couldn't wait for him to grow up. He went through a period of purple crying, colic, gas, and wouldn't nap for longer than 20 minutes for ages I obsessed over wake windows and still record his sleep i dont even know why anyway Looking back now, I miss it. I wish I could have that time again and maybe appreciate and love it more.
I'm due with my girl in December, and I think I'm dreading the newborn phase again. How do I learn to love it, even though it's such a hard time? Why do we miss it so much once they're older? Especially looking at photos I cry i regret nit loving the newborn period more

For me, think about them as a teenager and how difficult that will be. The newborn phase is the easy part in comparison 😄
