So… I’ve just had a conversation with my mum about combo feeding when baby comes I.E. breast feeding from the evening through to the morning and then day time feeds being formula, I’m thinking this as as much as it sounds silly I don’t feel comfortable with breastfeeding in public, my mum has shot this right down and told me I’m being stupid and should strictly breastfeed even when I’ve voiced how I feel, what do you guys think? Am I being silly and overthinking the whole breastfeeding in public

A lot of factors will come to play
If first baby you need to establish milk supply first which may mean regular feeding including day and night. If baby not born yet and only feeding at night, theres a good chance supply will drop quickly.
I never breastfed in public but did in the car or pumped in the car
Even if my mum voiced her opinion, im a grown woman

Don’t let anyone tell you you’re being stupid for your own preferences!
Perhaps you could think about pumping and bottlefeeding in the day rather than formula if you weren’t comfortable in public so it doesn’t interrupt your supply?
I’m thinking about breastfeeding and bottle feeding so my partner can be more involved and my parents can help support when needed. Whatever you feel most comfortable with will be best for baby xx
