I am currently 6 months postpartum, my daughter is my absolute world she makes me so happy but since I’ve had her I’ve felt numb inside unless it’s towards her then I pour all my love to her.
I think I have postpartum depression it’s only occurred to me the last few days as I am ‘high functioning’ but the mask feels like it’s beginning to slip and I have so much rage and go 0-10000 extremely quickly especially with my fiancé. I can tell I’m destroying our relationship making him miserable and pushed out. I have these episodes of rage and then consumed with guilt after because he really is the kindest man and the most amazing dad he doesn’t deserve this. How can I help myself? I just want to be myself again 😭

I am going through the EXACT same thing, please dont feel like you are alone, my little one is 7 months and I definitely have days where I feel like myself again, very rarely but the off day. Keep your head up I’m here if you need to chat x

I’ve had depression before so thought I’d cope with PPD okay but the rage was horrendous. I ended up going on citalopram which massively helped and now baby is older and I’m more in the swing of things I’m able to taper off my dose. Maybe speak to your GP and see if there’s anything they can do?
You got this mama! Things do get easier! 🤗
