Apparently there’s no proof peeing after sex decreases the chance of conceiving

You should pee. There arent any studies that support that keeping it up there will increase likelihood of pregnancy. Just the act of any semen being up there makes gives you the same likelihood of pregnancy as if you try to trap it up there.

If it makes you feel like it will increase your likelihood you can of course but there isnt proof that anything other than healthy lifestyle, genetic disposition, mental wellness, or ttc itself will increase your likelihood of pregnancy :) but if it reassures you to do so then keep it up there for a bit and just pee after a minute or two.

op are u talking abt risk of pregnancy or infection. Cuz the people responding are talking abt pregnancy risk bt ur post is talking abt infections. Just asking for clarification; are u asking abt peeing after decreasing the risk of pregnancy or STI/STDS or both?

Semen can stay in your body for up to 5 days regardless of how much you go pee lol

Different holes. Peeing has zero impact on your ability to conceive.

So when a guy uh finishes that load that shoots in you begins to travel and the rest die within a few minutes. So yes please don’t risk infection because you want to keep it in as long as possible when that isn’t necessary
