Hi everyone ❤️
I’m a first-time mum to an 8-week-old little girl, and I’ve realised one of the things that frustrates me most is… baby bibs! 😂
I seem to be constantly trying to put a bib on while holding her, and I find both Velcro and poppers really fiddly to do one-handed.
Velcro catches on everything (and can catch their hair!), and poppers always seem to need two hands at the exact moment I don’t have them.
It’s got me wondering whether I’m the only one, or if other parents feel the same.
I’d love to hear your honest thoughts:
🤍 Do you find putting bibs on one-handed difficult?
🤍 What’s your biggest frustration with baby bibs?
🤍 If there was a bib with a secure magnetic fastening for ease of use (designed specifically to be safe for babies), is that something you’d consider buying? Or would it not interest you?
🤍 Is there anything else you’d change about bibs?
I’m not selling anything, I genuinely just had this idea after struggling myself and wondered if other parents have the same problem before I look into it any further.
I’d really appreciate any feedback. Thank you! 😊

I use burp clothes and just place them under his chin when feeding, he’s used to them. I’ll move on to bibs once he’s eating solids

1. Why do you need to put bibs one handed?
2. Poor absorbency, no water proofing backs, wide gaps around the neck, and material gets mildewed easily.
3. No, because as they get older it will be easier for them to pull it off.
4. Maybe larger piece of fabric? I saw the photos of baby bibs in the 80’s were larger. Bibs nowadays got smaller and less fabric meaning more frequent change of bibs.
I have a heavy dribble baby, teething early who also has eczema probe skin. I tried many brands and bought many bibs. The one that works for us is Totsi brand.
