Miscarriage

Pregnancy 1: missed miscarriage at 9 weeks
Pregnancy 2: healthy full term baby
Pregnancy 3: blighted ovum found out at 8 week scan
Now pregnant again and terrified of having another miscarriage. Anyone have a blighted ovum and then went on to have a healthy baby?

Both my sister and my mother had a blighted ovum followed by a totally normal pregnancy. I asked my doctor about it when I got pregnant with my first - it sounds like it’s more common than I realised, and not generally an indicator of a larger issue. Wishing you luck!

Yes, happened to me and I fell pregnant two months after. Healthy full term baby.
I wish you all the best with your pregnancy and have a great time meeting your little one on your next scan ❤️

Firstly i am so very sorry for both of your losses, My first pregnancy ended in a blighted ovum, finding out on my 12 weeks scan and I went 5 years with actively trying to catch pregnant and when I finally became pregnant I was exactly the same as you. I was terrified as I had no clue with my last pregnancy until I went for my scan so I was so scared but my son was absolutely fine, he was a very healthy massive baby boy (9lb3oz). I really do feel for you as everyone tell you to try not to stress or worry as its not good for the baby but in all honesty thats all you seemed to do until the first scan. But there is hope and I am wishing you the very best!! Xx

Help

I’m due in 5 days and today I have been in pain down below and keep getting sharp pains shooting down my privates and it’s like there’s pressure there and my lower back is also in pain, my waters haven’t broken. I don’t have an appointment until I’m 41 weeks, which is in 12 days. I’m starting to struggle to figure out if I need to wee or if it’s the pressure and pain. Has anyone else experienced this before? I can’t tell if they are contractions or something else.

Different last names?

What's your experience with your child having your partner's last name and you're not married?

In my head I feel like I'll need to bring her birth certificate everywhere with me just in case...

Edit: can we stop being judgemental please? Not everything is black and white. I asked for people's experiences not opinions.

If birthdays were colors, what color would your birthday be?

1st Birthday

Don’t even want to think of it yet but what’s everyone doing for there little ones 1st birthday. Really unsure what to do! My son was born Halloween so will more than likely always have to be Halloween themed but unsure to have a party somewhere or just a tea party in the house.

Rolling

My 4 month old isn’t rolling over yet. I’m not worried about it as I know it’ll happen when he’s ready but the past day when he lays down he tries to move/shuffle himself up towards the nearest thing to his head and twists his head loads while getting frustrated/ crying. Is this him trying to roll him self over or a sign of something else? Would love some advice if anyone has had similar :)
