Is anyone still breastfeeding?? Our December babies are almost 2 years old. How long did you plan to breastfeed? How are you going to ween? Also is anyone pregnant how’s that going. I’m feeling like I’m ready for number 2!! Picture of my LO so we don’t get lost!

Just weaned my son. It took about a week. My goal with both was to bf till age 2 but I got pregnant earlier both times. I’m now 25 weeks pregnant and just had to stop.

Yup!! I nursed through December babies pregnancy and tandem nursed for 7 months. I’m now 13 weeks pregnant and still nursing December babe. I’m ready to be done but she isn’t so we are still going lol

I’m still breastfeeding. I currently tandem nurse. I breastfed my December baby all the way through pregnancy and gave birth to my 2nd in June. My goal is 2 years with them both but it’s not a hard cut off. What I think I will do is don’t initiate but when he asks I’ll offer pumped breastmilk in a cup as an alternative & slowly transition what I offer in a cup to whole milk only.

I weaned at night to get pregnant with my 3rd and then breastfed all throughtout the day still when I found out I was pregnant! I started weaning when I was around 7 weeks pregnant. I am breastfeeding just once in the very early morning now as my nipples are just done with breastfeeding while I am pregnant!! I just explained that I had less milkies and would replace feeds with meals and snacks she loved to distract her. I give her that one feed a day just to give her comfort.

Has someone ever said something small to you that you never forgot?

I was explaining this to my husband but he doesn't get it and tends to just forgive and forget, or literally just forgets, like small stuff isn't significant to him.

Maybe I'm just super insecure but if anyone says anything remotely negative to me I never forget it. Even the stupidest, most childish stuff.

For example when I was about 8yo my sister told me I had a fat bum 🤣 But since then I have always been really self conscious about my butt. (It was like the first time i remember feeling self conscious) Even now, when I feel good about myself there's a little tiny voice that's like maybe I'm still fat?

And when I was younger, maybe 12 or something, I had a best friends activity book that I filled out with my bestie (who I'm still friends with today!) and it just had loads of little questions and one of them was to write down something you didn't like/you found annoying about your best friend (which looking back was so dumb, like who wrote that book?) Anyways I didn't really want to hurt her feelings and I didn't really have a solid answer so I wrote nothing, I don't find anything annoying about my best friend, but she wrote without hesitation that I "always say 'I don't know' to everything" and from that point on I've always avoided answering questions with "I don't know" or "I'm not sure" even as an adult! 🙂🙄 I get so much anxiety when I get asked something I don't know the answer to, it's ridiculous. If I do say it, I immediately keep count in my head and make sure I don't say it again too many times in the same day to the same person 🙂🙂🙂

I told my husband this and he (politely) told me that I'm too sensitive and I know! But it's just how I've always been, I blame my upbringing honestly..

Sex

Had some light spotting in early pregnancy so was a little hesitant to have sex today. But did anyways. Anyone heard you shouldn’t be on top in the second trimester??

I have just had a phone call from the midwife. I had the bloods and tests done for downs and what not on Monday. She phoned today and said im a low risk for downs, but my papp-a is low. Shes prescribed me aspirin until 36 weeks and requested that I have scans at 20,28 and 32 weeks.
She said im at risk of still birth or early due date.
Im kinda freaking out a little and cant stop crying. Does anyone have any advice or know any more info?
Am I a high risk pregnancy now?

Is anyone pregnant again?! I had my sweet baby girl this past December via c-section and I’m 5 weeks pregnant with our second baby. Anyone in the same boat? Or thinking about doing it back to back 😬
