Routines?

Has anyone got a routine in place yet or are you still following babies lead?

My little one 3 and a half months and we generally follow her lead, we have a routine in a sense of bath before bed and what not but for naps and feeds we follow her and it seems to be working for us ☺️

We do eat, play, sleep for every wake window and then for the wake window before bed we do eat, play, bath, eat, sleep
This works great for us to be honest

We have followed baby who is 4 months old. He seems to have put him self into his own routine that is working

Wakes between 6:30 and 7:30
Awake for 90minutes to 2 hours
Naps mostly an hour
Awake again for 90minutes to 2 hours
Naps between 2-3 hours
Awake for 90 minutes to 2 hours
Naps for 45minutes to 60 minutes
Awake for between 2 hours and 2.5 hours
Bath between 6 and 6:30, bottle then placed in his next to me crib and falls asleep independently.

Depends on how much milk he’s has for the day I’ll give a dream feed around 10pm and then he wakes for another feed around 4:30

Following baby's lead although I've noticed her starting to shift into her own wee routine recently like wanting milk and sleep at the same times each day x

No rotaries as such. My brain isn’t organised enough 😂 typically just make sure little one eats every 3-4 hours and has a good play a couple times a day. Naps every 2 hours or so

Final growth scan update 💜

I had my final growth scan this past Thursday!

At my appointment on Tuesday…
My midwife struggled to feel where the baby was and thought they might be head up… so even she thought that's ‘breech’ so I booked a private scan just to be absolutely sure.

I’m so happy to say — baby’s head has been down the whole time! 😂💜 Exactly where they should be, ready to come any day now… my due date is 14 August 🥹

Baby is in perfect health and weighs 6 lb 11 oz — growing beautifully 💪✨

I’ve let the midwives know, especially since it really felt like she was pushing me towards the hospital againg and talking about needing a section when there was actually nothing to worry about at all!

This is when I was worried, in case, but definitely going ahead with my home birth exactly as planned
🥹💜💜💜

So relieved!!!!
My body knows exactly what it’s doing.
Everything’s ready…
Just waiting for our baby to decide when it’s time 💜

Pregnant again

So I'm a FTM 5.5months PP and just found out I'm pregnant again! We did a private early scan and estimated to be 5+5 at the moment. Absolutely not planned this time (although we did always want another one, just not this soon!)
Anyone else been in the same boat and can tell me it'll all be okay?! Freaking out a bit here! 🙈
