Can someone tell me how difficult it is to deal with recovery from a c section with a toddler. I had a c section with my first and this will be my second. They will nearly be 2 years apart when baby is born. Also can someone help a gal out on how to rest with a toddler and pregnant, while very busy and moved away from home but have a brilliant partner who works all the time. I’m only very early but feel like I don’t have a chance to enjoy and appreciate the pregnancy as much as I should.

Also would benefit from any advice! I’m due to have a baby in September and my little girl will of just turned 3. She’s gorgeous but quite a sassy little character who demands a lot of my time & attention, which is going to be difficult with a newborn & recovering from a c section!

My second c-section was so much easier to recover from than my first. Because I knew what to expect. My SO took a week off to help with both the baby and the toddler so I could heal that first week. But after than I was on my own. You make it work. Do not pick up your toddler! You will tear some stitches. Lusten to all restrictions your dr gives you. Explain to your toddler mommy has an owey and she if that can process that to stay away from hitting you in that area. But honestly you just get through it. Take it slow. Do what you can. REST WHEN THEY REST. I know you'll want to clean or try to get housework done. Trust me that can wait. Sleep is hard to come by with a toddler and baby. Youll want to get it when you can.
