Toddler play areas

Summer holidays or not, toddler play areas / play cafes SHOULD REMAIN FOR AGE STATED whether summer holidays or not.

I’m SICK to death of going to a play cafe DESIGNED FOR 5 AND UNDER ONLY but as it’s summer holidays all the older siblings are now playing there too.. I’m sorry but my 2 year old is now pushed aside to accommodate older siblings that shouldn’t be there to start with????! - even more annoying when the ‘child’ looks to be 5 their self so the family doesn’t even have a ‘toddler’

There’s so many play areas designed for the older children why do parents have to ruin the few us younger childrened mums get to enjoy for our children. I already avoid loads of places as too busy. These specially designed places should be our safe space.

Cafe owners should keep better tabs on it too.

For the mommas who are just holding it together

Just thought I’d post this to hopefully make another momma feel a little better. My 2 year olds plate today, chicken dinosaurs, hash-browns and barbecue sauce. Sometimes a quick freezer grab feels like you’re not doing the best for our little ones but my kid said it was the best!

HONESTLY…. Am I the only mom that did not know to enroll in public kindergarten you so it in the spring (February-April) ?
I did not even know to do it in july

I also do not get how this means I could possibly not see the school or meet the teacher prior to sending her! I do not want to be disruptive I wish I had known how it worked😭

Who's in the wrong here?

Just curious what others opinions are on this.
Mom takes her 2 boys to pool. Theyre
4 and 5 old enough to change themselves.
The 4 year old just turned 4 so hes still potty training.
When 4 year old is changing after swimming he poops on floor in men's restroom.
Mom notices it picks it up and leaves does not stay longer than 10 secondsand made sure no one else was in there.
Another Mom sees it happen and says shes gonna call police on Mom who picked up poop.

Does a man need to wash his hands after he pees?

My man thinks since he didn’t touch anything apart from pants and holding it in place, that he doesn’t need to use soap to wash his hands, will only rinse. Sometimes I catch him not washing his hands at all and I make him do it 🤢 is that normal? How to get him to do it without mothering him each time

He’s acting like nothing happened

Husband was caught cheating and moved out last week. Real cocky too cuz she was gonna let him move in with her. Well she found out he had a family (she was a victim in this too), and she left him. She messaged me a huge apology and swore she really didn’t know until she introduced him to her friends and her besties bd recognized him. Came home tonight and he’s just standing in the kitchen washing dishes (he never washed dishes once in the 6 years we’ve been together) and smiles and says “hey baby, how was your day?” And the kids obviously get so excited to see him so I bit my tongue in front of them. But now he’s just in the kitchen organizing the junk drawer and calling me babe and being like everything is normal while I get them ready for bed. He came in and even asked me if I’d like him to have a glass of wine waiting for me in the kitchen and kissed my head while the kids were watching.

I feel like I’m in some fever dream like did we not break up and he moved out?? Did he really think this tactic would work? Like what is even happening!?? What am I even supposed to say to him when I go out there?

“Hey I don’t know what all this is but you need to leave. We can’t just pretend none of this happened.” Is about all I got, but I am soo weak for him i don’t trust myself to have this conversation and actually make him leave, but I don’t want him to stay either.

Lonely

Recently my 2 best friends just " dumped" me. The one I've been friends with since middle school and the other since 2016. Both ment everything to me. One from 2016 still will hang out with me but doesn't really want to do kid stuff if we aren't at her mom's place. Plus both completely shit talk about my husband. My husband is 100% an a**hole and had dry, dark humor. He doesn't show his caring side to most people due to getting hurt so much growing up due to moving every 2-5 years so couldn't make friends. I hate that after all these years (husband and I have been together since 2014) they JUST told me how they feel about him which hurts and sucks... I don't have many mom friends and would love to make some. I'm definitely awkward especially for how much weight I've gained in the last few years I feel out of place anywhere. I just want a friend that puts in as much effort as I do and hang out with our kids... Sorry for the tangent...
