I'm looking for a decent highchair that is a reasonable price and of good quality

Genuinely the Ikea high chair is the best. We had a bugaboo and I think was like £300 and eventually changed to the Ikea one, after seeing so many videos online about how it was good.
There are loads of companies that do wrappings so you can make it look more aesthetic and can buy foot rests for them too. We got wraps for the legs so they looked wooden and a matching footrest

Facebook Marketplace is good for secondhand ones, we went with Timba Safety 1st for 20£. It's adjustable for different ages, so grows with the child which we do like.

We have the silvercross 4 in one so it grows with our little one as we dont have a table for him to sit at as he gets older, we use it both as the highchair and just the seat stood on the floor for feeding too, got it second hand off vinted

We bought the mamas and papas on amazon. It was half price. Easy to clean and very comfortable

Ikea x
You want as little padding as possible that's can't be removed x
These things get stained with tomato and get filthy you need it basic x
We've had Ikea twice and now we're using mamas and papas bug as we take it away with us
