How are we all doing?

39+1 and incredibly fed up. Had false labour symptoms for the last 5 days 🙄

40 weeks. I cried for 45 mins because 2 of the NCT mums who are several week behind me had their babies first 🙃 I'm the furthest along in pregnancy by 4 week. Oh also just to add a little salt to the current open wound. She had 2 days of contractions, then popped out 40 mins after arriving in triage at 5cm. No pain relief.

I've been contracting for 6 days, started having symptoms 2 weeks before that and I feel like I am going to lose it any second.

40+1 been cramping for 2 weeks, i am just tired

39 weeks, thought I was going into labour yesterday then today, not much happening. Spent the day trying to keep my mind of it. Got a sweep booked in for next Friday so really hoping something happens before then! Wondering if me being overactive triggered the labour pains yesterday but body just wasn't ready yet so trying to slow myself down and stay sane!! Fingers crossed for all of us that our bodys are ready soon ❣️❣️

38+6 was convinced i was going into labour last night but it ended up stopping which was frustrating... I had a cervical check and sweep last sunday at 2cm and the pressure down low is upsetting

Im nearly 40 weeks and barely had any symptoms tbh.
I had my first at 37+ 3 days so feeling really frustrated and I feel like my body isn't doing what its meant to be doing and I dont know why, sick of waiting, I know how you feel🫩🥱

I’m a Mama!

Title secured!!! My little one is here- she arrived on Aug 1 at 9:07pm at 37 weeks 3 days after a failed induction and eventual caesarean to her proud papa and even prouder mama! I’ve gained a new label and I couldn’t be happier. We’ve been in the newborn trenches for almost 2 weeks now and I feel much confident now than when I initially brought her home! We’ve got this and so do all the FTMs.

NIPT gender screening

Hi all! I had the NIPT gender blood test when I was 9 weeks pregnant (now 14w4d). I was told it’s 99% accurate. Just wondering if anyone else has had this?

Low lying placenta & flying

I recently had my 20 week scan and the sonography told me my placenta was close to my birth canal. He didn’t seem concerned at all, just a rescan at 32 weeks and that worst case scenario would be a c-section.

I was given no advice about what can/can’t be done, but I have a two holiday booked in the next 6-7 weeks (no more than 3hour flights). I haven’t yet spoken to the midwives as the sonograoher didn’t make a big deal out of it, but googled and there’s mixed messages about flying. I wondered if anyone had a similar experience, or had any advice around flying?
