Double buggy?

I have a 2 month old and a 3 year old, and I’m considering a double buggy but some people have told me not to bother!
For context, I try and get out and about with both my kids when I’m on my own, my toddler doesn’t really like to walk for extended periods, little legs get tired. And my 2 month old already weighs around 13/14lbs. Him in a baby carrier hurts my back 😅
I was considering a double buggy that my daughter can just get in and out of, we’re also going on holiday in October and I thought a double buggy would be convenient when we are on days out.
Does anyone have any recommendations, suggestions? My budget is £200 max really as I know I won’t use it for that long. Thanks x

Ah! I may add, we have a buggy board. Toddler doesn’t like it :)

Every child is different, if you think your toddler will use it then absolutely get it! Other people can give an opinion but they can't tell you what is best for you and your children, only you can do that 😊 I did see someone the other day with a sort of trike/bike attachment on their pushchair but I was driving so couldn't ask where it was from, but that could be an option instead of the board?

Eveyone told me not to bother but it was the best thing I had done !
I tried to attachments for him to sit on , stand on ext and it just makes it super awkward for me to push the pram !

I didn’t get one for a 2.5 year age gap and I wish I did! We got two separate travel prams but they’re not helpful at all when I’m on my own. My toddler also hates a buggy board x

I absolutely swear by mine, best thing I ever bought.

Have a 2 y/o and 3.5 y/o and couldn’t live without our double! We have the baby city jogger which I love (can fold it up and down with one hand, both kids can now get in and out independently)

Tried a buggy board first and hated it

You can get a hammock kinda thing, it's like a seat attached to the bottom and handles at the top, might be an option?

Has anyone experienced this? 😭

My baby is 2 months old and has been exclusively breastfed since birth. I went to Boots for emergency contraception, told the pharmacist I was breastfeeding, and was given ellaOne.
After taking it, I read the leaflet and saw the breastfeeding warning. I called 111 and a clinician advised me to stop breastfeeding and give formula for 8 days.
I’m honestly heartbroken 😭 I’m worried about introducing formula and whether I’ll be able to get my baby back to breastfeeding afterwards.
Has anyone had to do this before? Did you successfully return to breastfeeding? ❤️

5:30am wake up!!

My little girl has just turned one and no matter how long she naps/what time she goes to bed she wakes up at any point between 4:30-5:30am wide awake and it takes a good hour to try and resettle her, or I give up and have to get up. Anyone else in the same boat or been through this?!

Hair removal down there

Hi mums, just want to ask how you're managing hair removal down there? I'm tempted to use hair removal cream, pre-pregnancy it was the only thing that helped me do it without cuts/nicks and I hated using my razor/trimmer. My bits are unbearable now and I really need a better solution as I cut myself more using my razor and trimmer (can't see what I'm doing because of bump). Does anyone have an at home solution that works completely? Can I just use hair removal cream? And is it safe? 😢 Thank you ❤️

Sleep

My baby is 6 months, for the last couple of months ths he's given up with contact napping and will only sometimes sleep in the pram or car, although that does not always work. We've had period where he's been awake all day for 12 hours and just screams constantly as he's so tired but will not sleep. He took 3.5 hours to get to sleep last night and tonight has been awake the last 4 hours and screams every time he is put down.

He's so overly tired but will not aleep, we've tried watching wake windows but eveytime we try and put him down for a nap he just screams and gets himself even more worked up. There's been 4 occasions where he's gone down for a nap, all less than an hour.

Completely exhausted, has anyone got any advise on how to solve this?

nighttime nappies

Hey, i just wanted to hear what others were doing basically - if your LO sleeps through the night then do you change their nappies or not? obviously dirty ones you will need to change but what about wet ones?
