Sleep

My baby is 6 months, for the last couple of months ths he's given up with contact napping and will only sometimes sleep in the pram or car, although that does not always work. We've had period where he's been awake all day for 12 hours and just screams constantly as he's so tired but will not sleep. He took 3.5 hours to get to sleep last night and tonight has been awake the last 4 hours and screams every time he is put down.

He's so overly tired but will not aleep, we've tried watching wake windows but eveytime we try and put him down for a nap he just screams and gets himself even more worked up. There's been 4 occasions where he's gone down for a nap, all less than an hour.

Completely exhausted, has anyone got any advise on how to solve this?

Is he in any kind of pain? Has he started solids? Could you try a reset, taking him to a quiet dark room, put him on your chest and provide lots of comfort?

Did you try co sleeping? It looks like he has anxiety connected with the bedtime, I think he just needs your closeness, try to cosleep if you can if it makes any difference, I think it will. I hope you resolve that problem soon it’s not easy to see when your baby is crying for any reason 💗🫶

I agree with above, some babies just have different temperament.

My second son he is 6 months next week, and hats off to you he doesn't cry as much with bedtime but he has cried a lot! At one point it was on the hour and it was exhausting!! So I know how you feel.

With his sleep, even at his age now he needs a lot of comfort he sleeps in bed with me in his pod and sometimes even that won't do it he has to literally be by my side.

When he was born he completely rejected his bed and slept on my chest for weeks, you can only imagine I was literally sleeping if I was even sleeping upright 😂😂

It's hard, but try more of a co sleeping approach plenty of research for it to be safe but honestly our bodies are made to be close with our babies. Sending all the strength!!

Has anyone experienced this? 😭

My baby is 2 months old and has been exclusively breastfed since birth. I went to Boots for emergency contraception, told the pharmacist I was breastfeeding, and was given ellaOne.
After taking it, I read the leaflet and saw the breastfeeding warning. I called 111 and a clinician advised me to stop breastfeeding and give formula for 8 days.
I’m honestly heartbroken 😭 I’m worried about introducing formula and whether I’ll be able to get my baby back to breastfeeding afterwards.
Has anyone had to do this before? Did you successfully return to breastfeeding? ❤️

5:30am wake up!!

My little girl has just turned one and no matter how long she naps/what time she goes to bed she wakes up at any point between 4:30-5:30am wide awake and it takes a good hour to try and resettle her, or I give up and have to get up. Anyone else in the same boat or been through this?!

Hair removal down there

Hi mums, just want to ask how you're managing hair removal down there? I'm tempted to use hair removal cream, pre-pregnancy it was the only thing that helped me do it without cuts/nicks and I hated using my razor/trimmer. My bits are unbearable now and I really need a better solution as I cut myself more using my razor and trimmer (can't see what I'm doing because of bump). Does anyone have an at home solution that works completely? Can I just use hair removal cream? And is it safe? 😢 Thank you ❤️

nighttime nappies

Hey, i just wanted to hear what others were doing basically - if your LO sleeps through the night then do you change their nappies or not? obviously dirty ones you will need to change but what about wet ones?
