Painful sex?
I’m 8 weeks post c section and have tried to have sex twice but it’s extremely painful around the opening and also a sharp pain deep inside. Has anyone else experienced this and does it get better?

yes, I experienced it when I had my son, it was extremely painful for the first few months but that was also cause of other issues but it got easier around the 4-6 month postpartum mark certain ways obviously hurt more so try to find one that helps you ease back into it
It’s very early still so please don’t worry too much as you literally had 7 layers cut wide open and internal healing takes months and months xx you’re likely to need to wait a bit longer.
If you are concerned always visit your doctors to just check the wound area x
I had sex at 13ish weeks post c section our body’s are still healing id probably just give it more time and not try to rush anything
You may need to wait a little more. I had to wait a while after to have sex because my incision came open and was bleeding. It gets better but you may need to wait a little bit longer for your body to heal. You literally had a surgery and stitches and everything. Give yourself some grace and give yourself time to heal all the way.

It’s normal, but you’ll feel better soon I just had sex too three months post partum and it wasn’t that bad surprisingly. Everyone heals at different rates you gotta remember that too.

Yes it's very normal. First time I had sex after c section is was very uncomfortable but it got better with each time and I recommend lots of lube!
Just tell your hubby to go slower and try other things to make you feel good and safe during, it can still be some what enjoyable but be very cautious your still healing !! Listen to your body i had sex 8 weeks after and it felt extremely weird and nerves were everywhere but just took things slow
I had this. It was hypertonic pelvic floor.
