High PI Umbilical artery and protein in the urine - suspected preeclampsia

Hi all,
I am spinning and worried as hell. My placenta is not working properly and my baby is in the smaller side but still within the normal range for now. The PI is between 95 and 98 percentile, but still flowing so they think it will be ok for now to have doppler scans and CTG every week, and growth scan every two. They want to induce me at 36/37 weeks (I am 33 today). I am devastated and worried my placenta will stop working before I get to my next scan and the only symptoms would be less movements. My baby could get hurt and also the possibility of having preeclampsia scares me even more, since I know how dangerous it can be. Anyone could share their experience? I really need support right now 😞

Ive had high PI since 20 week scan ( now 30 weeks), protein and leucocytes in urine. Was booked for 5 growth scans. (Had one so far at 28 weeks and baby was on the 27th centile ) all has been fine they just continue to monitor me and have put me on aspirin.
Would try not to stress, I also had most symptoms of pre-eclampsia but luckily havent got it.

Ive opted for sweeps from 38 weeks every 3 days.

Unexpected pregnancy

I found out that I’m pregnant last night even though I’ve been on the patch! Unfortunately the conversation didn’t go down well so it looks like I’m doing it on my own. I was wondering if anyone else has had an experience like this? I’m slightly nervous

Gestational diabetes test

Hey lovely people,

I’m looking for people who have had the gestational diabetes test done and ended up having to do a second test due to being sick in the first one 😅🤦🏼‍♀️ I had the test yesterday and safe to say my confidence going in was very quickly humbled and an hour in was sick… I know this does happen I’m just worried as this is my first time being sick the entire pregnancy and wondering if it’s a sign I may have either got gd or my body really didn’t agree with the heat and glucose increase… awaiting my next appointment wish me luck 😭

Pregnant again, and feeling it all 😍🥹

Hi mamas,

I'm pregnant again, and will have a little baby in April 2027. I'm only 6w in so it's still very early days, but I'm a little freaked out. I'm quite hormonal and nervous. My symptoms are so different this time (lower back pain and exhaustion, but no nausea or boob pain - in fact I'm still leaking milk as I stopped breastfeeding 3months ago). I know it's impossible, but I feel like my daughter knows... She's been pointing at my belly, sometimes kissing it. And on the odd days she's very clingy and wants to be in my arms 24/7.

Any advice on how to navigate this journey with a one year old? And how to stay patient before reaching the 12 weeks mark? And any 2 under 2 mamas with advice?

nursing pillows

hi, can anyone recommend good nursing pillows? I'm not looking to sell a kidney to buy them but I'm currently managing without a proper nursing pillow and it's making it pretty hard! baby is only a few weeks and nurses on their side in cross cradle hold. my breasts aren't small (and they aren't as perky as they were pre-pregnancy either!) so most pillows I've been using are actually too tall, if that makes sense, putting the baby too high in my lap above where they need to latch, while leaving my arm holding the breast unsupported.

any suggestions for good nursing pillows that don't cost an arm and a leg please? thank you!
