Do you have to tell your husband to do romantic things for you?

It can bother me if he doesn't do it on his own. If I liked flowers, for example, if I tell him I want him to give me flowers, it's basically like me getting flowers for myself because he wouldn't have done it without the reminder, if that makes sense? Like, it wouldn't be a genuine effort on his part. I guess it's different if I tell him, and then he remembers later on.

No. I do not tell him to do anything for me. He does whatever he wants and always will. He is NOT romantic in anyway and never will be so I just leave it alone. I knew what I was getting into when we got together as I've known him for 10 years. So if I expect more it's on me.
